System and method for diagnosing soft tissue conditions

A diagnostic system is provided for classifying a soft tissue condition within a region of interest of a subject. The diagnostic system comprises a spectrometer system configured to irradiate a soft tissue within a region of interest of a subject, and configured to generate spectral data by acquiring at least a portion of the reflected or emitted light from the region of interest. The diagnostic system further comprises a thermal detection system including at least one thermal sensor that is configured to acquire thermal detection data from the region of interest. A computer system is then used to build a classification model based on input thermal detection and spectral data. The classification model is then applied to an unknown soft tissue condition to classify the condition (e.g., classifying cellulitis from pseudocellulitis).

Device, method, and program for visualizing network of blood vessels of skin

A device of an embodiment includes: an optical mechanism that guides light from a light source to skin tissue to scan the skin tissue; a control computation unit that controls driving of the optical mechanism, acquires tomographic images of the skin by processing optical interference signals from the optical system, and calculates a network of blood vessels on the basis of the tomographic images; and a display device that displays the network of blood vessels. The control computation unit computes autocorrelation values at coordinates in epidermis corresponding regions of the tomographic images, excludes combinations of tomographic images with the computed autocorrelation values corresponding to predetermined low autocorrelation, computes autocorrelation values at coordinates in dermis corresponding regions, determines coordinates at which the autocorrelation values in the dermis corresponding regions are within a predetermined low correlation range to be blood vessels or blood vessel candidates, and calculates a network of blood vessels.

Electronic device, mobile terminal and control method thereof

Disclosed is an electronic apparatus comprising a mounting portion to which one of a plurality of optical heads is selectively mountable; a communicator configured to communicate with an external apparatus; an optical module (optical unit) configured to transmit light, which is reflected from a user's body and passed through the optical head mounted to the mounting portion, to the external apparatus; and a controller configured to obtain identification information about the optical head mounted to the mounting portion when one of the plurality of optical heads is mounted to the mounting portion, and control the communicator to transmit the identification information to the external apparatus. Thus, a desired optical head is mounted as necessary to capture an image of a user's body part, analyze the captured image, and provide analysis information to a user.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of facilitating fixed-point observation on skin condition. The information processing device according to an aspect of the present technology acquires an image that shows a predetermined feature point of a user who is a measurer of skin condition, and a measurement portion of skin condition, and analyzes the image, and then recognizes a position of the feature point. Furthermore, information indicating the measurement portion is displayed at a predetermined position on the image while setting, as a reference, the recognized position of the feature point. The present technology is applicable to information processing devices such as a tablet terminal, a smartphone, and a personal computer.

System and method for providing light therapy to a user body

The invention provides a light therapy device for providing therapeutic treatment to a user's body, wherein the user may be a person or an animal. The device is using a light projection method for treating the body problems and/or skin disorders. Further, the device is having a rotatable assembly that automatically follows the movement of the desired area of the body needs to be treated. The device uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, localization modules, object detection module, image processing module, and 3D-mapping to automatically identify and treating the desired area of the body. Furthermore, the user can manually identify, select and prioritize desired treatment portion and can select the type of treatment required.

AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USER HEALTH ANALYSIS

Augmented reality systems and methods for user health analysis. Methods for user health analysis may include collecting data for an initial prediction model and continuing to collect additional data based on one or more data criteria. The methods may further include updating the initial prediction model based on the additional data to produce a revised prediction model or causing an intervention to occur based on the additional data. The data may be collected by a display system including one or more sensors configured to collect user-specific data and a display device configured to present virtual content to a user. The display device may be configured to output light with variable wavefront divergence.
