An environment control system that controls an environment of a subject is provided. The environment control system includes an actuator configured to control an environment of a subject, and a controller configured to control an operation of the actuator. The environment control system includes an inference unit that includes a first learned model and a second learned model. The first learned model has been trained by associating environmental information indicating an environment of a subject with data correlating with one of sleep, excretion, movement, skin, and stress conditions of the subject. The second learned model has been trained by associating the data correlating with one of the sleep, excretion, movement, skin, and stress conditions of the subject with data correlating with a magnitude of one or more risks that may occur with respect to the subject in a future period of time. The environment control system includes an operating condition determining unit configured to, in a case in which data correlating with the magnitude of the one or more risks that may occur with respect to a subject in a future period of time is inferred based on the first and second learned model, evaluate the inferred data to determine an operating condition of the actuator.

The cartridge includes a nozzle located in the applicator head. An image capture device captures images of the human skin through an opening in the applicator head. A processor analyzes the images of the human skin to identify skin deviations. A sealing assembly includes a support portion and a resiliently deformable sealing element supported by the support portion at a location within the applicator head. The sealing assembly has a closed configuration where the sealing element is sealed against the nozzle and an open configuration where the sealing element is removed outward away from the nozzle in a composition delivery direction to expose the nozzle for operation.

Device for improving an optical detecting smoke apparatus and implementing thereof. Apparatus and methods for detecting the presence of smoke in a small, long-lasting smoke detector are disclosed. Specifically, the present disclosure shows how to build one or more optimized blocking members in a smoke detector to augment signal to noise ratio. This is performed while keeping the reflections from the housing structure to a very low value while satisfying all the other peripheral needs of fast response to smoke and preventing ambient light. This allows very small measurements of light scattering of the smoke particles to be reliable in a device resistant to the negative effects of dust. In particular, geometrical optical elements, e.g., cap and optical defection elements, are disclosed.

SKIN TONE CORRECTION FOR BODY TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION

A method for estimating human body temperature includes receiving, via a thermal camera, a thermal image captured of a real-world environment, the thermal image including thermal intensity values for each of a plurality of pixels of the thermal image. A position of a first human face is identified within the thermal image, the first human face corresponding to a first human subject. A skin tone of the first human face is identified. Based on the identified skin tone, a skin tone correction factor is applied to one or more thermal intensity values of one or more pixels corresponding to the first human face to give one or more tone-corrected thermal intensity values. Based on the one or more tone-corrected thermal intensity values an indication of a body temperature of the first human subject is reported.
