HEATED BODY PILLOW
20230118357 · 2023-04-20 ·

Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a heated body pillow are described. The pillow may receive, from a user device, one or more commands for adjusting an operating temperature of a heating element located inside an outer covering of the pillow. A power cord coupled to the heating element may be at least partially enclosed by a tubular shroud external to and coupled to the outer covering. The pillow may adjust the operating temperature of the heating element based on receiving the one or more commands.

Home automation having user privacy protections

An acoustic sensor is positioned in an environment and configured to generate a data stream responsive to acoustic energy in the environment. A controller is configured to receive the data stream. The controller is further configured to analyze the data stream to determine ambient acoustic signals. The controller is further configured to generate an ambient acoustic template based on the determined ambient acoustic signals. The controller is further configured to apply the ambient acoustic template to the data stream so that the ambient acoustic signals are suppressed in the data stream. The controller is further configured to analyze the data stream after the ambient acoustic signals are suppressed in order to determine if the acoustic energy in the environment includes acoustic energy of human snoring. The controller is further configured to issue a control signal to a second controller in order to engage a home automation device.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a system for predicting onset of sleep. The system includes a user worn device that includes a plurality of primary sensors to collect a plurality of primary data of a user, a first processor, in communication with the primary sensors, to receive the data and further process the data, wherein the processor determines an onset of sleep data in the user, a first communications module, in communication with the processor, transmits the onset of sleep data, a secondary device, that collects secondary data of the user, a secondary processor, that receives the onset sleep data from the first communications module and secondary data from the at least one secondary sensor, and combines the received onset sleep data and the secondary data to determine whether an onset of sleep event is possible and warn the user about the onset of sleep event.

Contactless cough detection and attribution

Methods, devices, and systems for contactless cough detection and attribution are presented herein. Audio data may be received using a microphone. A cough may be identified as having occurred based on the received audio data. Radar data may be received indicative of reflected radio waves from a radar sensor. A state analysis process may be performed using the received radar data. The detected cough may be attributed to a particular user based at least in part on the state analysis process performed using the radar data.

Cycle-based sleep coaching
11627946 · 2023-04-18 · ·

Physiological parameters such as respiratory rate and/or heart rate variability can be measured over time for a user and correlated to physiological and/or hormonal cycles such as the menstrual cycle. By determining the phase of such a cycle in this manner, an automatic coach for the user can recommend phase-specific adjustments to activities such as sleep and exercise.

MULTI-STAGE WORKFLOW PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS PLATFORM
20230060235 · 2023-03-02 ·

An example system provides a multi-stage workflow processing and analysis platform. The system may access first data associated with a patient and provide, for display on a client device, a graphical user interface that displays workflow elements and data points of the first data. In some instances, the system may receive, via the graphical user interface, an input relating a workflow element with a data point associated with the patient, which workflow element may define an action. The system may execute the workflow including the action defined by the workflow element, receive second data based on the workflow, and provide a graphical interface displaying the first data and the second data on the client device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INCREASING A SLEEPINESS OF INDIVIDUALS

A system includes a memory device storing machine-readable instructions and a control system including one or more processors configured to execute the machine-readable instructions to receive initial physiological data associated with a user, determine, based at least in part on initial physiological data, an initial sleepiness level for the user, prompt the user, via an electronic device, to perform a first activity, receive subsequent physiological data associated with the user, determine, based at least in part on the subsequent physiological data, a subsequent sleepiness level for the user, and determine a first activity score based at least in part on the initial sleepiness level and the subsequent sleepiness level, the first activity score being indicative of an effectiveness of the first activity in modifying the sleepiness of the user.

Device, method and application for establishing a current load level

The invention relates to a device, a method, a computer program product and an application for establishing a current load level of a user. The device and the method comprise a mobile terminal, which comprises at least one sensor generating signal data and a plurality of available applications for use by the user and also an evaluation unit. According to the invention, provision is made for the mobile terminal to comprise an application, which is configured as further application and establishes a plurality of biometric data in respect of the user, at least from the signal data or from available applications used by the user, and to make said data available to the evaluation unit, and for the evaluation unit to determine the current load level of the user from the biometric data.

Cluster-Based Sleep Analysis

Various types of data can be collected regarding the physical or mental health of a user, as may relate to sleep of the user over a period of time. Health metrics can be determined from this data that can enable the user to be associated with a particular health type or category. For sleep, this can include associating the user with a sleep animal that has specific characteristics. This can help a user to better understand that user's sleep, and how that sleep compares to sleep of others. In addition to being able to provide health information in a way that is easy to understand, such an approach can also help to make more accurate recommendations or take specific actions to help improve the health of a user, such as to improve sleep. This can include making recommendations to a user or automatically adjusting operation of at least one device.
