Systems, devices, and methods for controlling cooperative surgical instruments with variable surgical site access trajectories are provided. Various aspects of the present disclosure provide for coordinated operation of surgical instruments accessing a common surgical site from different approach and/or separate body cavities to achieve a common surgical purpose. For example, various methods, devices, and systems disclosed herein can enable the coordinated treatment of tissue by disparate minimally invasive surgical systems that approach the tissue from varying anatomical spaces and must operate differently, but in concert with one another, to effect a desired surgical treatment.

Intraoperative Systems and Methods for Determining and Providing for Display a Virtual Image Overlaid onto a Visual Image of a Bone

Example methods and systems may be used intraoperatively to help surgeons perform accurate and replicable surgeries, such as knee arthroplasty surgeries. An example system combines real time measurement and tracking components with functionality to compile data collected by the hardware to register a bone of a patient, calculate an axis (e.g., mechanical axis) of the leg of the patient, assist a surgeon in placing cut guides, and verify a placement of an inserted prosthesis.

An image processing device includes an input/output interface, and at least one processor. The at least one processor executes: detecting feature points in a facial image of an object included in an image taken from the input/output interface; acquiring first distance information between the feature points before a beauty treatment is performed; acquiring second distance information between the feature points at a second timing after the beauty treatment is performed; acquiring a difference value between the first distance information and the second distance information; and determining whether the beauty treatment is correctly given or has been given based on a different value between the acquired distance information.

Medical image analysis method and device

A medical image analysis method includes: reading an original medical image; performing image classification and object detection on the original medical image to generate a first classification result and a plurality of object detection results by a plurality of complementary artificial intelligence (AI) models; performing object feature integration and transformation on a first detection result and a second detection result among the object detection results to generate a transformation result by a features integration and transformation module; and performing machine learning on the first classification result and the transformation result to generate an image interpretation result by a machine learning module and display the image interpretation result.

OPTICAL MEASUREMENT METHOD, OPTICAL MEASUREMENT APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORYCOMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
20230080382 · 2023-03-16 · ·

An object of the present disclosure is to provide an optical measurement method, an optical measurement apparatus, and a non-transitory computer readable medium capable of specifying the position of a pore. The optical measurement method includes first, second, and third steps. In the first step (ST11), first 3D tomographic image data is acquired from a skin by using optical coherence tomography. In the second step (ST12), a line shown in a second planar image (B2) at a second depth is removed from a first planar image (B1) at a first depth, the second depth being deeper than the first depth. In the third step (ST13), a position of a pore is specified from the first planar image (B1) from which the line has been removed.
