In addition, the present disclosure also relates to a multi-part coating form of said coating composition, a method for preparing the coating composition and a substrate coated with the coating composition.
Water-based high-temperature-resistant titanium-steel anti-bonding coating and use thereof
The invention relates to a coating for preventing intermetallic bonding, in particular to a water-based high-temperature-resistant titanium-steel anti-bonding coating and its use in the preparation process of titanium ingot. The water-based high-temperature-resistant titanium-steel anti-bonding coating of the invention includes the following components in parts by weight: 50-150 parts of water-based film-forming agent, 0-50 parts of Zn powder, 400-450 parts of Al.sub.2O.sub.3 powder, and 250-350 parts of talcum powder. The coating of the invention can avoid the bonding reaction with a roller or a winch of the steel equipment in the rolling or perforation process of a titanium tube at 900 C., so as to improve the yield and the production efficiency of titanium material processing. Moreover, the process is simple and easy to operate, the coating is environment-friendly and pollution-free, and easy to prepare.
Bisphenol A and aromatic glycidyl ether-free coatings
Disclosed are Bisphenol A (BPA), Bisphenol F, Bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE), and Bisphenol F diglycidyl ether (BFDGE)-free coating compositions for metal substrates including an under-coat composition containing a polyester (co)polymer, and an under-coat cross-linker; and an over-coat composition containing a poly(vinyl chloride) (co)polymer dispersed in a substantially nonaqueous carrier liquid, an over-coat cross-linker, and a functional (meth)acrylic (co)polymer. Also provided is a method of coating a metal substrate using the BPA, BPF, BADGE and BFDGE-free coating system to produce a hardened protective coating useful in fabricating metal storage containers. The coated substrate is particularly useful in fabricating multi-part foodstuffs storage containers with easy-open end closures.
PAINT COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING CORROSION AND IMPROVING DURABILITY OF A STRUCTURE, AND PROCESS FOR FORMING COATING LAYER USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a paint composition containing graphene oxide for preventing corrosion of a structure and improving water repellency, corrosion proof and long-term durability of a concrete structure. The paint composition includes a powder mixture containing 0.2 to 1.0 weight % of zinc (Zn), 0.02 to 0.3 weight % of graphene oxide, 0.06 to 0.11 weight % of phosphorus, and a remaining amount of aluminum (Al); and an adhesive resin in which the powder mixture is uniformly dispersed.
TONE RING AND ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE
A tone ring attachment for a disc brake rotor. The disc brake rotor has a disc portion that includes a plurality of circumferentially-spaced lugs. Each one of the lugs has a groove. A discrete tone ring body has a plurality of bosses. Each one of the bosses is receivable in a respective one of the grooves in the lugs. A dart projection extends from at least one of the bosses. The dart projection engages a respective one of the lugs to inhibit relative axial movement and relative rotational movement in at least one direction between the tone ring and the disc brake rotor. A tab is formed on at least one of the bosses. The tab is engageable with a portion of the lug to inhibit relative rotational movement in a second direction opposite the first direction between the tone ring and disc brake rotor.
BRAKE DISK AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BRAKE DISK
A brake disk for a wheel brake of a land vehicle includes a main body formed from gray cast iron. The main body has at least one axial friction side, at least one anti-corrosion layer applied to the axial friction side, and at least one anti-abrasion layer applied to the anti-corrosion layer. The anti-corrosion layer is a cost-effective coating for the brake disk that enables enhanced corrosion resistance and is provided as a sherardizing layer. The anti-abrasion layer is wear resistant for the at least one frictional face of the brake disk and is provided by a SiC material containing at least one oxidic or metallic binder, or by an iron-based alloy having a vanadium carbide reinforcement, a niobium carbide reinforcement, a boron carbide reinforcement, a chromium carbide reinforcement or combinations thereof.
