Overcoating liquid, ink set, image forming method, and image forming apparatus

An overcoating liquid contains a hydrodispersible polyurethane; a compound represented by Chemical formula 1: C.sub.6F.sub.13—CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O(CH.sub.2CH.sub.2O).sub.nH, where n represents an integer of from 1 to 40; a compound represented by Chemical formula 2: HOR.sub.1R.sub.3C—(CH.sub.2).sub.n—CR.sub.2R.sub.4OH, where R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each, independently represent alkyl groups having three to six carbon atoms, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each, independently represent methyl groups or ethyl groups, and n represents an integer of from 1 to 6; and water, wherein the overcoating liquid is applied to the surface of a recording medium onto which inkjet ink is already discharged.

FAST CURING UV INKJET INKS BASED ON HYPER-BRANCHED POLYESTER ACRYLATES

A fast-curing UV inkjet ink is based on hyperbranched polyester acrylates. The ink contains the following components: 1 wt % to 20 wt % of at least one hyperbranched polyester acrylate having a functionality in the range from 6 to 30, 1 wt % to 30 wt % of at least one reactive diluent, 1 wt % to 20 wt % of at least one free-radical photoinitiator of the Norrish I type, 30 wt % to 70 wt % of at least one multifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, and 0 wt % to 30 wt % of at least one monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer. The ink is particularly suited for inkjet printing and it is used in an inkjet printing process.

FAST CURING UV INKJET INKS BASED ON HYPER-BRANCHED POLYESTER ACRYLATES

A fast-curing UV inkjet ink is based on hyperbranched polyester acrylates. The ink contains the following components: 1 wt % to 20 wt % of at least one hyperbranched polyester acrylate having a functionality in the range from 6 to 30, 1 wt % to 30 wt % of at least one reactive diluent, 1 wt % to 20 wt % of at least one free-radical photoinitiator of the Norrish I type, 30 wt % to 70 wt % of at least one multifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, and 0 wt % to 30 wt % of at least one monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer. The ink is particularly suited for inkjet printing and it is used in an inkjet printing process.
