BIOLOGICAL MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND BIOLOGICAL DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
Disclosed is a biological measurement device. The biological measurement device includes a first plate including a first transmission window; an electrode structure disposed on the first plate and spaced apart from the first window; a chamber plate disposed over the electrode structure and the first plate, the chamber plate including for exposing a portion of the electrode structure and the first transmission window; a second plate disposed over the chamber plate, the second plate including a second transmission window facing the first transmission window; a light emitting unit positioned either over the second transmission window and emitting light toward the second transmission window; and a light receiving unit disposed under the first transmission window and being configured to receive the light which the light emitting unit supplies to pass through the blood sample.
Method for automatic determination of an individual function of a DPOAE level
The automated determination of an individual function of a DPOAE level map with p.sub.dp,I=f(L.sub.1, L.sub.2) of human or animal hearing. The method may include reading into a main memory a model function with model parameters of a DPOAE level map, based upon a number of N DPOAE measurements of a stimulation frequency pair with respectively different level pairs in a population (p) of a population of normally hearing subjects, automatically presenting n different level pairs of a stimulation frequency pair via tone output means to an individual and detecting the corresponding DPOAE's of the individual via tone recording means, wherein at least the first level pair is predefined, iteratively adapting the model function to the measured n DPOAE's until an individual function is obtained with individual parameters of a DPOAE level map of the individual, outputting the individual function and/or its individual parameters.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING BLOOD PRESSURE OF A SUBJECT
A method implemented on a computing device having at least one processor, storage, and a communication platform connected to a network for determining blood pressure may include: receiving a request to determine blood pressure of a first subject from a terminal, obtaining data related to heart activity of the first subject, determining a personalized model for predicting blood pressure with respect to the first subject, determining the blood pressure of the first subject using the personalized model based on the data related to heart activity of the first subject, and sending the blood pressure of the first subject to the terminal in response to the request.
Electronic apparatus, notification method, and computer-readable storage medium
A mobile terminal includes a sensor information acquisition unit, a state calculation unit, and an output control unit. The sensor information acquisition unit successively acquires bio-information relating to a subject. The sensor information acquisition unit acquires activity information relating to activity of the subject. The state calculation unit estimates a physical condition of the subject based on the bio-information acquired and the activity information acquired. The output control unit controls the output unit to perform a notification of information based on the physical condition of the subject estimated.
Systems and methods for ultra-wideband (UWB) radar detection and tracking of tumors in real-time
An ultra-wideband (UWB) radar system for non-invasive, real-time tumor tracking includes an UWB transmitter arranged to transmit radar pulses to penetrate a region of interest of a patient; an UWB receiver arranged to receive radar return pulses after being reflected by tumor tissue in the region of interest of the patient; and an UWB signal processor constructed to communicate with the UWB receiver, wherein the UWB transmitter and the UWB receiver are constructed to be arranged sufficiently far away from the patient so as to avoid interfering with radiation treatment of the tumor.
Feedback method and wearable device to monitor and modulate knee adduction moment
Knee adduction moment of an untethered human during gait is modulated by determining at least one feature associated with instantaneous knee adduction moment of the untethered human during a gait cycle. Feedback to be transmitted to the human is, optionally, derived from the feature, such as by comparing the at least one feature to a value, such as a target value. The feature, or feedback derived from the feature, is transmitted to the human for response by the human, thereby modulating knee adduction moment of the untethered human during the gait.
Technologies for biosignal feedback filtering
Technologies for filtering biosignals include one or more biosignal sensors coupled to a user to receive biosignals and a computing device to receive biosignals from the biosignal sensors. The biosignal sensors filter the received biosignals to identify abnormal biosignals using a plurality of domain filters including a time domain filter and a frequency domain filter. The biosignals identified as abnormal by each of the domain filters are transmitted to the computing device, while the remaining biosignals are discarded.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING AUDITORY GUIDANCE IN MEDICAL SYSTEMS
An auditory guidance system and method for medical systems and procedures are disclosed. A method for providing auditory guidance during a medical procedure includes selecting a song for playing during the medical procedure. At least a portion of the song is assigned to the medical procedure. Parameter information for at least one parameter associated with the medical procedure is obtained during the medical procedure. The obtained parameter information is compared against predetermined thresholds for each parameter. The portion of the song associated with the parameter information is modified in accordance with the comparison and the modified portion of the song is played to provide auditory guidance during the medical procedure.
Wearable pulse waveform measurement system and method
A pulse waveform measurement system includes an LED light source providing an incident beam having a predetermined wavelength onto a radial or other artery, samples reflected light at a predetermined sample rate, computes, and displays a pulse waveform and various parameters associated therewith. The wavelength and sample rate are set so as to provide desired data quality.
PERSONALIZED HEALTH COACHING SYSTEM
Systems and methods for a comprehensive and personalized approach to health and lifestyle coaching are described. The system may determine health metrics of a user based on detected physiological parameters. The health metrics may be used to determine health recommendations and transmit feedback to the user based on user compliance with the recommendations.
