Thermal barrier coating and an ultra-high-temperature cold-wall suspension bed hydrogenation reactor comprising the same

A thermal barrier coating and a cold-wall reactor including the coating are provided. A second ceramic layer is sandwiched between the conventional two-layer structures of the thermal barrier coating. The second ceramic layer is made of aluminum oxide stabilized zirconium oxide and the content of aluminum oxide does not exceed 30 wt %. The zirconium oxide in the first and second ceramic layer has a tetragonal crystal structure. A cold-wall reactor formed by applying the thermal barrier coating provides advantageous steel hydrogen corrosion resistance in ultra-high temperature. The effective volume of the hydrogenation reactor is fully used, overcoming the problem that the thermal insulation liner is easily damaged and causes local overheating of the reactor wall, as well as eliminating potential safety hazards of reactor wall local stress concentration caused by expansion and contraction of the liner cylinder attachment member.

A lightweight electromagnetic wave shielding tape is disclosed. The tape includes a first polymer protective layer, a calendered conductive material layer coupled to a bottom side of the first polymer protective layer, and a second polymer protective layer coupled to a bottom side of the conductive material layer so that the conductive material layer is encapsulated within the protective layers. An adhesive layer can also be applied to one of the protective layers.

BLOOD BAG AND BLOOD BAG LABEL WITH SUCH A LABEL

The present invention relates to an adhesive label intended to be secured to a blood bag made of PVC, Kraton, polypropylene or the like, wherein the adhesive label comprises a flexible support and a layer of pressure-sensitive adhesive deposited on one of the surfaces of the support; wherein the label is noteworthy in that the support has a mineral filler rate of silica and/or calcium carbonate (CaCO.sub.3) and/or the like, of less than 50%, and wherein at 115 C., the support has an elongation greater than or equal to 2% when a test piece 1.5 cm wide of the support is suspended under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes, and wherein the blood bag at 115 C. has an elongation of at least 100% when a 1.5 cm wide test piece of a blood bag is suspended under tension by a weight of 375 g for 75 minutes.

Electrochromic lenses and methods of fabricating the same
09977262 · 2018-05-22 · ·

The present disclosure provides a method of constructing an electrochromic lens which simplifies the steps of applying the electrochromic electrode coatings onto the lens elements. An electrochromic lens is constructed by applying an electrochromic electrode film onto the inner surfaces of facing lens elements and then sandwiching an electrochromic material between the lens elements. The films include a release liner having a release coating, an adhesive coating overlying the release coating of the release liner, an indium tin oxide (ITO) coating overlying the adhesive coating, and an active electrochromic electrode (EE) coating or active electrochromic electrode (ECE) coating overlying said ITO film coating. The release liner is removed and the remaining layers of the film are adhered to the lens.

A METHOD BONDING SEALING ELEMENTS TO SUBSTRATES USING A CEMENTITIOUS ADHESIVE

A method for bonding of a sealing element to a substrate using a cementitious adhesive composition having at least one synthetic organic polymer and at least one hydraulic binder. The invention also relates to a sealed structure and to use of a wet cementitious adhesive composition for bonding of a sealing element to a surface of a substrate.

Joining dissimilar materials using an epoxy resin composition

An epoxy resin composition is disclosed for joining dissimilar materials. The identified epoxy resin compositions can fee used to seal metallic and non-metallic components of a capacitor. Specifically the epoxy resin composition can be applied to joints between a non-metallic capacitor bushing and a metallic tank cover and metallic terminal cap. Once the epoxy resin composition is cored, it can provide a seal that can withstand the stresses and environmental conditions to which a capacitor is subjected.
