The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such a pressure sensitive adhesive and uses thereof.
DISPERSION ADHESIVES
The invention relates to the use of aqueous dispersion adhesives on the basis of a mixture of aqueous polyurethane or polyurethane-urea dispersions for bonding foam substrates according to the spray coagulation method.
Foam tape for sound-absorbing tire and sound-absorbing tire comprising the same
The present invention relates to a foam tape for a sound-absorbing tire, the foam tape including a release film; a tacky adhesive layer formed underneath the release film; a base film formed underneath the tacky adhesive layer; an adhesive layer formed underneath the base film; and a sound-absorbing material layer having a porous structure and formed underneath the adhesive layer, and the foam tape having enhanced adhesive force to a tire, and the present invention also relates to a sound-absorbing tire including the foam tape for a sound-absorbing tire.
Adhesive tape with polyurethane carrier
The present invention relates to an adhesive tape comprising at least one carrier that has a thickness of 20 to 250 μm, preferably 50 to 150 μm, and has at least one layer (i) based on preferably uncrosslinked thermoplastic polyurethane that has been produced by means of extrusion, wherein the polyurethane is based on aromatic polyisocyanate, such as aromatic diisocyanate in particular, or (ii) based on preferably uncrosslinked polyurethane that has been produced from a dispersion, wherein a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is disposed on at least one side, preferably both sides, of the carrier. The invention also relates to processes for producing the adhesive tape and to the use thereof for bonding of components in electrical, electronic, optical or precision mechanical devices, such as, in particular, of windows or lenses in housings of precision mechanical, optical and/or electronic devices.
Retrofit sanitary handle
A sanitary covering is retrofit over an existing handle or railing, particularly a shopping cart handle A stability-enhancing element in the form of compression foam is adhesively secured to an existing handle. A metal cover, such as of anodized aluminum, with a pathogen-eliminating outer surface (such as a biocidal or antimicrobial coating), jackets the compression foam. The cover may be in two parts having elements interlocking them together so as to be securely attached together and securely engage the compression foam. A method of retrofitting a sanitary covering over an existing handle or rail is also provided utilizing a stability-enhancing element and a metal cover with a biocidal or antimicrobial outer coating.
POLYOLEFIN RESIN FOAM SHEET AND ADHESIVE TAPE
There is provided a polyolefin resin foam sheet having a plurality of cells which is formed by foaming a polyolefin resin, wherein, in the polyolefin resin foam sheet, the average cell sizes and the maximum cell sizes in the MD direction and the TD direction are each a predetermined value, and a ratio [TD strength at break/MD average cell size] and a ratio [MD strength at break/TD average cell size] are both 80 kPa/μm or more.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE
A pressure-sensitive adhesive for bonding to various surfaces, such as metals, plastics, and also vehicle finishes, with rapid wetting and high adhesion, with good shear strengths and bond strengths under different conditions and without undergoing dewetting even under lasting mechanical load, comprises: a) at least 50 wt % of at least one polymer A whose monomer basis comprises the following monomers: a1) at least one (meth)acrylic ester having a homopolymer glass transition temperature of not more than −60° C. and an alcohol component based on a branched, primary alcohol, having an iso index of 1; a2) at least one (meth)acrylic ester having an alcohol component based on a linear C.sub.1-C.sub.18 alcohol; a3) acrylic acid; b) at least 5 wt % of at least one synthetic rubber; and c) at least 10 wt % of at least one peel adhesion-reinforcing resin.
