A breast imaging apparatus includes a radiation source that irradiates a breast of a subject with radiation, a radiation detector that detects the radiation transmitted through the breast to output a radiographic image, an ultraviolet light source that performs irradiation of ultraviolet light, and a controller that controls an operation of the ultraviolet light source. The controller prohibits the irradiation of the ultraviolet light by the ultraviolet light source in a case where a predetermined set condition is satisfied. The controller determines that the set condition is satisfied, for example, in a case where a person is shown in a captured image of a camera.

The present invention relates to a C-arm head cover. The C-arm head cover according to the present invention comprises: a fixed unit which includes a fixing means, and is capable of being fixed to a predetermined object; a first cover which extends from the fixed unit, and has a foldable structure; and a second cover which extends from the first cover, and is bent downward, wherein when the C-arm head rotates 180 degrees from an upright position around a C-arm table for supporting a person to be processed with radiography, the foldable structure of the first cover is unfolded, and then only the first cover or both the first cover and the second cover covers the C-arm head.

Cleaning Information for Medical Device Surface Cleaning

A method for providing cleaning information for at least one surface of a medical imaging device. The method includes: recording contact data indicating contact between a person and at least one surface of the medical imaging device, wherein the contact data is recorded by at least one surface sensor unit; evaluating the contact data by an evaluation unit, wherein the evaluation of the contact data comprises identifying those surfaces of the medical imaging device which indicate a contact with and/or a physical proximity to a person; and generating cleaning information for the identified surfaces on the basis of the evaluated contact data and providing the cleaning information for the surfaces.

Mobile X-ray unit

One embodiment of the present disclosure is directed to a mobile X-ray unit. The mobile X-ray unit may include an X-ray applicator for emitting an X-ray beam for irradiating an object. The mobile X-ray unit may further include a phantom-based dosimetry system configured to perform a dosimetry check of the X-ray beam. The phantom-based dosimetry system may include two sets of dose meters, each set being positioned on a surface at a distinct depth. The mobile X-ray unit may also include a dosimetry control unit configured to receive measurements from the two sets of dose meters and determine whether the dosimetry check is passed based on the measurements.

SURGICAL POSITIONING SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE

A surgical positioning system is provided that includes a dimensioned grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines corresponding to surgical variables and a substrate connected to or integral with the grid. This system is used to obtain subject specific data from an image of a subject obtained during a surgical procedure by following the steps of: providing a grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines relating to surgical variables; placing the subject on a substrate; and obtaining subject specific data from an image of said subject. This invention relates to an apparatus made of a grid having a plurality of dimensioned radio-opaque lines relating to surgical variables and a sealable container sized to receive the dimensioned grid.

Sterile drape with elasticized body portion for protecting a C-arm imaging machine
11246549 · 2022-02-15 · ·

A sterile drape can be used to cover a C-arm imaging machine used during a medical procedure. In some configurations, the drape includes a detector body cover, a C-arm body cover, and an elastic banding. The detector body cover can be positioned around a detector of the imaging machine. The C-arm body cover can include a tunnel portion that is positioned to surround a portion of the C-arm extending away from the detector. The elastic banding can extend about a perimeter of a junction between the detector body cover and the C-arm body cover. The elastic banding can provide a biasing force that draws the junction between the detector body cover and the C-arm body cover closed.
