The invention relates to a urethane oligomer which according to a) or b) as follows, has: a) at least two backbone residues R issued from a polyisocyanate without the NCO groups, linked between them with a diol residue R.sub.B (diol without the two OH groups) by two urethane bonds (NHCOO) and each of said backbone residues R carrying (or linked to) at least two urethane segments each one of which, contains at least one terminal allyl group, preferably from 1 to 5 terminal allyl groups, b) at least one backbone residue R issued from a polyisocyanate without the NCO groups, said backbone residue R carrying (or linked to) at least two urethane segments each linked to R by one urethane bond with at least one urethane segment (arm) containing at least one terminal allyl group (preferably from 1 to 5 terminal allyl groups), and at least one urethane segment (arm) containing at least one terminal (meth)acrylate group (preferably from 1 to 5 terminal (meth)acrylate groups). The present invention also relates to a curable composition containing the urethane oligomer, the method of preparing the urethane oligomer, and the use of the urethane oligomer or the curable composition in the presence of air, for good surface properties by reducing oxygen inhibition in coatings, adhesives, sealants or in resin matrix.
PRODUCTION OF PU FOAMS
Process for producing PU foams by reacting at least one polyol component with at least one isocyanate component in the presence of one or more catalysts that catalyse the isocyanate-polyol and/or isocyanate-water reactions and/or isocyanate trimerization, and optionally one or more chemical or physical blowing agents, with use of SiOC-bonded polyether siloxanes having branching in the siloxane moiety, prepared from branched siloxanes bearing acetoxy groups, wherein a sufficient amount of the SiOC-bonded polyether siloxane having branching in the siloxane moiety is added that the proportion by mass of this polyether siloxane (e) based on the finished PU foam is from 0.0001% to 10% by weight.
Curable compositions, products and articles formed therefrom, and methods of forming the same
A curable composition, a method of making the curable composition, and an article and product produced therefrom are provided. A morpholinedione is contacted with an isocyanate to form a resin composition. The resin composition is reacted with an amine to form the curable composition.
SEALING MEMBER AND VIBRATION DAMPING DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A sealing member according to the present invention is a sealing member against a synthetic oil containing an ester-type additive, and includes 95.0% by mass or more and 99.5% by mass or less of a para-phenylen diisocyariate-based polyurethane and 0.5% by mass or more and 5% by mass or less of a same compound as the ester-based additive. The sealing member according to the present invention has a smaller friction coefficient and more excellent deformability than conventional sealing members and that can inhibit swelling caused by a synthetic oil.
