LATENT CURING AGENT AND CURABLE POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION
A compound of formula (I) having advantageous properties when used as a latent curing agent for compositions containing isocyanate groups, and to compositions containing the compound of formula (I). The compound of formula (I) is odourless, is liquid and has comparatively low viscosity at room temperature and is stable in storage together with isocyanates. It makes possible odourless single-component polyurethane compositions which have good stability in storage, do not produce bubbles when cured in the presence of moisture, and cause no problematic odour emissions, giving a cured elastic material having good mechanical properties, good heat stability, a surprisingly non-adhesive surface and little tendency towards plasticizer migration.

The invention relates to a process for preparing isocyanate containing alkoxysilane groups, in which, in the sequence of steps A) to D), A) alkoxysilano(cyclo)alkylamine is reacted with dialkyl carbonate in the presence of a basic catalyst to give alkoxysilano(cyclo)alkylurethane, B) simultaneously or successively, the catalyst is deactivated, and low boilers, solids, salt burdens and/or high boilers are removed, C) alkoxysilano(cyclo)alkylurethane obtained after B) is thermally cleaved to release isocyanate containing alkoxysilane groups and by-product, leaving bottoms material, and D) isocyanate containing alkoxysilane groups and by-product are separated from one another and from bottoms material and collected,
wherein the process regime at least of steps C) to D) is continuous.

A joint sealing compound for the in-situ production of connection joints in wet areas. The joint sealing compound is based on acrylates. The joint sealing compound is either light-curable only with a light which is outside of the UV range, or the joint sealing compound is curable via a dual-curing process wherein the joint sealing compound is moisture-curing with a light which is outside of the UV range.
POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION AND SEALED ARTICLE
Polyurethane resin compositions are used to seal objects such as electrical and electronic components in order to provide protection from condensation and contamination. Such polyurethane resin compositions are often used in high-temperature environments. Thus, a polyurethane resin composition having high heat resistance is provided.
The polyurethane resin composition is obtained by reacting a hydroxyl-group-containing compound (A) with an isocyanate-group-containing compound (B) and contains an antioxidant (C) having an alkylthio group.

Drying agent for moisture-curing compositions
The invention relates to a polymer composition that can be produced by (a) reacting an NCO-reactive polymer having exactly one NCO-reactive group per molecule, with a diisocyanate, the molar ratio of the diisocyanate molecule to the NCO-reactive groups of the NCO-reactive polymer being at least 2:1; and (b) reacting the residual NCO groups in the reaction product from step a) with an NCO-reactive silane. The invention also relates to a moisture-reactive composition containing said polymer composition, to methods for producing the polymer composition, and to moisture-reactive compositions containing said polymer composition. Finally, the invention relates to the use of the polymer composition as a drying agent for moisture-curing adhesives, sealants and coating agents.
REACTIVE POLYURETHANE HOT-MELT ADHESIVES
The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one crosslinkable thermoplastic polyurethane (P) and at least one compound (N) having a conjugated, nitrogen-containing aromatic structure as nucleating agent, wherein the compound (N) is a solid and is present in the composition in an amount within a range from 0.01% to 0.5% by weight, based on the thermoplastic polyurethane. SEALANT MATERIAL
A sealant material for sealing joints between male and female mating parts comprising: (a) an elongate flexible thread suitable for wrapping around at least one of the parts, and (b) a joint sealing composition comprising an anaerobically curable composition in solid form,
the flexible thread being coated with the anaerobically curable composition. This provides a reactive composition on the thread for sealing joints.
