PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR HYDRODEARYLATION AND HYDROGENATION OF AROMATIC COMPLEX BOTTOMS
Processes and systems are disclosed for improving the yield from reforming processes. Aromatic complex bottoms, or a heavy fraction thereof, are subjected to hydrodearylation and hydrogenation to produce additional gasoline blending components and aromatic products.
Modified ultra-stable Y (USY) zeolite catalyst for improving cold flow properties of distillates
A process is provided for improving cold flow properties of distillates, the process comprises the step of contacting a hydrocarbon feedstock with a framework-substituted ultra-stable Y (USY)-type zeolite in which a portion of aluminum atoms constituting a zeolite framework thereof is substituted with zirconium atoms and/or titanium and/or hafnium atoms, thereby producing a dewaxed distillate product.
Integrated methods and systems of hydrodearylation and hydrodealkylation of heavy aromatics to produce benzene, toluene, and xylenes
Provided here are systems and methods that integrate a hydrodearylation process and a hydrodealkylation process into an aromatic recovery complex. Various other embodiments may be disclosed and claimed.
Branched Paraffinic Compositions Derived from Isomerized and Hydrogenated Linear Alpha Olefins
Compositions can include mixtures having from about 2 wt % to about 40 wt % of C.sub.10-C.sub.20 linear paraffins based on the weight of the mixture, from about 60 wt % to about 98 wt % of C.sub.10-C.sub.20 branched saturated hydrocarbons based on the weight of the mixture, and less than or equal to about 30 wt % of C.sub.20+ saturated hydrocarbons based on the weight of the mixture. Methods to obtain these compositions can include the isomerization of one or more C.sub.10-C.sub.20 alpha olefins under skeletal isomerization conditions to obtain an isomerization mixture and the hydrotreating of the isomerization mixture.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIO-JET FUEL
A method for producing a bio-jet fuel includes a reaction step of hydrogenating, isomerizing, and decomposing a crude oil obtained by a deoxygenation treatment of a raw oil containing a triglyceride and/or a free fatty acid, by using a hydrogenation catalyst and an isomerization catalyst in a hydrogen atmosphere under conditions of a reaction temperature of 180° C. to 350° C. and a pressure of 0.1 MPa to 30 MPa.
FUELS AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a method that includes a first treating of a first mixture that includes a carboxylic acid having between 2 and 12 carbon atoms, inclusively, to form a second mixture that includes a ketone having between 2 and 25 carbon atoms, inclusively, and a second treating of at least a first portion of the second mixture to form a first product that includes a paraffin having 8 or more carbon atoms.
CATALYST SYSTEM FOR DEWAXING
A catalyst system for dewaxing of a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising a mixture of a first dewaxing catalyst composition and a second dewaxing catalyst composition, wherein the first dewaxing catalyst composition is a ZSM-12 zeolite based catalyst composition and the second dewaxing catalyst composition is a EU-2 and/or ZSM-48 zeolite based catalyst composition, and wherein a concentration gradient of the mixture is achieved within a single catalyst bed, such that the concentration of the first dewaxing catalyst is decreasing and the concentration of the second dewaxing catalyst is increasing through the catalyst bed; and a process for dewaxing of a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising contacting the hydrocarbon feedstock with said catalyst system.
Systems and methods for renewable fuel
The present application generally relates to the introduction of a renewable fuel oil as a feedstock into refinery systems or field upgrading equipment. For example, the present application is directed to methods of introducing a liquid thermally produced from biomass into a petroleum conversion unit; for example, a refinery fluid catalytic cracker (FCC), a coker, a field upgrader system, a hydrocracker, and/or hydrotreating unit; for co-processing with petroleum fractions, petroleum fraction reactants, and/or petroleum fraction feedstocks and the products, e.g., fuels, and uses and value of the products resulting therefrom.
Catalytic dewaxing of hydrocarbon feedstocks
In a process for improving the cold flow properties of a hydrocarbon feedstock, the feedstock is contacted with a catalyst composition comprising an EMM-17 molecular sieve and a hydrogenation component under dewaxing conditions effective to produce a dewaxed product having a cloud point and/or pour point that is reduced relative to the cloud point and/or pour point of the feedstock by at least 5° C.
