LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR SHOCK ABSORBER, ADDITIVE FOR FRICTION ADJUSTMENT, LUBRICATING OIL ADDITIVE, SHOCK ABSORBER, AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING FRICTION OF SHOCK ABSORBER LUBRICATING OIL
To provide a lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber, an additive for friction adjustment, a lubricating oil additive, a shock absorber, and a method for adjusting friction of a shock absorber lubricating oil, capable of achieving both operation stability and riding comfort. A lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber contains a base oil and a friction adjusting agent, in which the friction adjusting agent contains zinc dithiophosphate and pentaerythritol.
CONVEYOR LUBRICANTS INCLUDING EMULSION OF A LIPOPHILIC COMPOUND AND AN EMULSIFIER AND/OR AN ANIONIC SURFACTANT AND METHODS EMPLOYING THEM
The present invention relates to conveyor lubricant compositions including an emulsion of a lipophilic compound and also including an emulsifier and/or an anionic surfactant. The present invention also relates to methods employing such lubricant compositions. In an embodiment, the method includes applying the present lubricant composition to a conveyor with a non-energized nozzle.
UNIVERSAL ADDITIVE
A universal additive for fuel and lubricants contains C2-C4 alcohols, carbamide, boric acid, acrylic compounds, and water. The additive allows for more complete combustion of liquid and solid fuels, as well as reduced fuel consumption and fewer harmful emissions. In lubricating oil compositions, the additive reduces wear on the friction surfaces of engines, and also reduces fuel consumption.
CUTTING FLUIDS
The present disclosure is drawn to a cutting fluid for use in computer numerical control milling. The cutting fluid can include from about 10 wt % to about 90 wt % of a C2 to C6 alcohol; from about 0.1 wt % to about 20 wt % of a chelating agent; from about 0.5 wt % to about 15 wt % of a metal ion selected from aluminum ion, chromium ion, nickel ion, tin ion, zinc ion, or a combination thereof; and from about 8.5 wt % to about 88.5 wt % water. The cutting fluid can have a surface tension that can range from about 22 dynes/cm to about 55 dynes/cm.
Drilling fluid for downhole electrocrushing drilling
The disclosure relates to an electrocrushing drilling fluid with an electrocrushing drilling base fluid including a non-polar oil, water, and glycerin. The base fluid may further include a polar oil and an alkylene carbonate. The electrocrushing drilling fluid may further contain at least one additive. The electrocrushing drilling fluid may have a dielectric constant or dielectric strength of at least a set amount, an electric conductivity less than a set amount, or a combination of these properties. The disclosure further relates to an electrocrushing drilling system containing the electrocrushing drilling fluid and an electrocrushing drill bit.
Composite material
A composite material comprising a plurality of polymer chains fixed to a base and swelled with a mixture which contains a salt and a hydrogen bond-donating compound and has a melting point maintained at 100° C. or less.
HYDROPHILIC COATINGS AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
A urinary catheter including a hydrophilic coatings on the outer surface of the catheter tube wherein the hydrophilic coatings comprises a hydrophilic polymer and a diacrylate compound have a number average molecular weight between about 200 and about 600.
WIRELINE LUBRICANT FOR USE IN GREASELESS DOWNHOLE LOGGING
A rubber friendly lubricant composition adapted for lubricating the cable in a greaseless down hole logging process including a general formulation: polypropylene glycol, poly alkylene glycol; amine borate; 1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, disodium salt; and, deionized water. The lubricant being compatible with seals and rubbers, and other related materials, used on trucks and other oil field vehicles and equipment. Being water soluble, the lubricant also presents a low potential for fire risk, and is considered environmentally friendly. The lubricant also exhibiting superior freeze properties.
Liquid compositions for hair removal devices comprising metathesized unsaturated polyol esters
The invention relates to liquid compositions for use with hair removal devices comprising a metathesized unsaturated polyol ester for improved lubrication.
