Sustainable cold-dispersible pearlescent concentrate
Sustainable, free-flowing, cold-dispersible pearlescent concentrates are made without using any controversial or known toxic substance is disclosed herein. The pearlizing concentrates of the instant invention are free of alkyl sulphates/alkyl ether sulphates, alkanol amides, alkylamidopropyl betaines, and esters of ethylene glycol. The pearly concentrates of the present invention employ ‘super-mild’ surfactants to disperse vegetable plant derived 1,3-proane diol stearates. Also, these concentrates are preserved without any controversial antimicrobials such as parabens, isothiazolinones and formaldehyde releasers.

CLEANING AGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING ACYL BASIC AMINO ACID DERIVATIVE
The present invention provides a composition containing component (A): a compound represented by the formula (1)
##STR00001##
wherein each symbol is as described in the DESCRIPTION, or a salt thereof, and component (B): at least one kind of surfactant selected from the group consisting of an anionic surfactant having a carboxyl group, an amphoteric surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, which is superior in foamability and foam volume and affording improved rinsing performance and smooth feeling after drying.
TRANSPARENT SOLID DETERGENT
The present invention provides a transparent solid detergent containing (A) N-acyl acidic amino acid salt, (B) acylglycine salt and (C) polyvalent alcohol, at a proportion of (A) 4.5-5000 parts by weight and (C) 2.5-2400 parts by weight, per 1 part by weight of (B), which suppresses coloration by heating during production, is superior in preservation stability at low temperature and high temperature, is low irritant, and shows good sense of use.
Lipid production
The present invention relates to at least one cell for producing at least one lipid with general formula II from at least one carbon substrate, ##STR00001##
wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another comprises identical or different organic radicals each with 5 to 13 carbon atoms,
wherein the cell is a non-pathogenic cell that is genetically modified to increase the heterologous expression relative to the wild type cell of: an enzyme (E.sub.2) capable of converting 3-hydroxyalkanoyl-3-hydroxyalkanoyl-CoA/ACP or 3-(3-hydroxyalkanoyloxy)alkanoic acid (HAA) and NDP-glucose into β-D-glucopyranosyl-3-hydroxyalkanoyl-3-hydroxyalkanoate.

WATER-SOLUBLE REFILL DOSE ARTICLE ENCLOSING A CONCENTRATED CLEANSER COMPOSITION AND KITS HAVING SAME
Water-soluble refill dose articles for forming a cleanser have a water-soluble film defining a first compartment enclosing a first composition and a second compartment enclosing a second composition, which are individual separate articles or are part of an integral article. The first composition has a rheology modifier, a first surfactant, 10% or less by weight water, 20% or less by weight glycol, and the first surfactant does not activate the rheology modifier. The second compartment has an alkaline substance that when mixed with the first composition and water activates the rheology modifier to increase the viscosity of a resulting cleanser and 10% or less by weight water. When the article is diluted in water at a 1:1 to 1:20 ratio, it produces a cleanser having a viscosity within a range of 2000 cps to 50,000 cps.
Surfactant and Composition
The present invention provides a surfactant that has good foaming, foam quality, and solubility even having a pH equivalent to that of the skin, which is weakly acidic, has a low viscosity with high handleability, and can be useful in a product such as a personal care product, for example, a cosmetic. More specifically, the present invention provides a surfactant including an N-monounsaturated acyl acidic amino acid or a salt thereof, wherein the N-monounsaturated acyl is an acyl having 10 to 16 carbon atoms.
