ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1), which performs a compression test with respect to at least two points of a popliteal vein and a common femoral vein of a subject, includes an ultrasound probe (15), an image acquisition unit (8) that acquires an ultrasound image by transmitting an ultrasound beam toward the subject from the ultrasound probe (15), a vein detection unit (9) that detects the popliteal vein included in the ultrasound image, and an operation guiding unit (10) that guides a user, in a case where the compression test of the popliteal vein is performed, to operate the ultrasound probe such that the ultrasound probe (15) is positioned at a position in which only one popliteal vein is included in the ultrasound image based on the number of the popliteal veins detected by the vein detection unit (9).
DEVICE AND METHOD FORBREAST CANCER DIAGNOSIS
An ultrasound device (1) for carrying out a breast diagnostic examination for breast cancer diagnosis, comprising two ultrasound probes, characterized in that each of said probes comprises: a first array of piezoelectric transducers with a first nominal frequency (f1), and a second array of piezoelectric transducers with a second nominal frequency (f2), the probes being arranged opposite to each other, being configured to rotate along a circular trajectory having for center the midpoint of the segment connecting them and to slide to each other along said straight line connecting them, coming in contact with the breast of the patient from diametrically opposite portions, in that the arrays comprise each a plurality of piezoelectric transducers, positioned so that acquisitions are carried out on a plane of acquisition orthogonal to the plane of the circular trajectory.
ULTRASONIC CT APPARATUS, CONTAINER FOR ULTRASONIC CT APPARATUS, AND BREAST IMAGING METHOD
To provide an ultrasonic CT apparatus that can change an inclination of a side surface of a breast such that an ultrasonic wave is incident on a surface of an entire circumference of the breast at an angle close to perpendicular, and that has less psychological burden on a subject. A container provided with an opening to which the breast is inserted is disposed below a bed provided with a through hole to which the breast of the subject is inserted. In the container, a member that propagates or transmits the ultrasonic wave is disposed, and the member is relatively pressed against a side surface or a nipple portion of the breast such that an inclination of the side surface of the breast is close to perpendicular. A transducer array emits the ultrasonic wave around the breast with the inclination of the side surface being close to perpendicular.
Medical imaging system
A medical imaging system acquires a first medical image of a breast as an object using a first imaging apparatus in a state in which the breast is fixed, captures a second medical image of the breast as the object using a second imaging apparatus having a different imaging principle from the first imaging apparatus in a state in which the fixation of the breast is maintained, sets a period for which the second medical image is captured and a period for which the first medical image is analyzed so as to at least partially overlap each other in a case in which the first medical image is analyzed to detect a region of interest, and outputs positional information such that a region-of-interest image having the region of interest as a main object is captured in a case in which the region of interest has been detected.
ULTRASOUND DEVICE
An ultrasound treatment device (1) which comprises a probe head (2) that comprises an ultrasound transducer (3) and an imaging device (4), a deformable coupling balloon (5) with a cavity (6), between the probe head (2) and the coupling balloon (5) filled with a coupling liquid (7), a pressure sensor (9) for determining the pressure of the coupling liquid (7) in the cavity (6), a fluid control system (10), and a controller unit (13). The device (1) is adapted to switch between at least first and second operating modes (I, II). In the first operating mode (I), the pressure of the coupling liquid (7) is maintained at a first pressure value (P1), and, in the second operating mode (II), the pressure of the coupling liquid (7) is maintained to a second pressure value (P2) which is higher than the first pressure value (P1).
IMAGING SYSTEM HOUSING
An imaging system housing is provided which includes a body and a scanning plate. The body defines a cavity and an opening in communication with the cavity. The body includes one of a lip or groove formation extending from peripheral zone adjacent the opening in a direction away from or towards the cavity and transverse to a plane defined by the opening. The scanning plate is shaped and dimensioned to close the opening and has the other of a groove or lip formation extending along a periphery thereof and being shaped and dimensioned to cooperate with and receive the lip or groove formation of the body. The scanning plate is made from a low surface energy plastic material. The body and plate are bonded together using a structural acrylic adhesive applied to one or both of the lip and groove formations. The imaging system may be a dual-modality imaging system.
ATTACHMENT AND ULTRASOUND PROBE
The attachment includes: a holder that has an opening portion provided at a position corresponding to an ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving surface of the ultrasound probe and is attachably and detachably fixed to the ultrasound probe; and a protruding portion that draws and holds a sheet-shaped acoustic matching member provided between the opening portion and the ultrasound probe in a close contact direction in which the acoustic matching member is brought into close contact with the transmitting and receiving surface.
RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEM, MEDICAL IMAGING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
A compression plate of a mammography apparatus has an upper surface which is irradiated with radiation, a lower surface which is opposite to the upper surface and comes into contact with the breast, and a surface which is parallel to the upper surface between the upper surface and the lower surface. In the compression plate, a compression plate scale for identifying an in-plane position of each surface is given to any one of the surfaces. A first display control unit of a console performs control to display a radiographic image captured by the mammography apparatus on a display unit. A second display control unit of the console performs control to display an image scale which indicates a position on the radiographic image corresponding to the in-plane position of the compression plate on the radiographic image displayed on the display unit.
BREAST SLIP PREVENTION PAD FOR ULTRASOUND BREAST SCANNER
