Surfactant blend for removal of fatty soils
Alkaline cleaning compositions with a blend of an amine and a nonionic alcohol ethoxylate between about 1:2 to about 1:10, preferably about 1:5 to about 1:10, with an alkalinity source and chelant are provided. The cleaning compositions provide efficacious cleaning of fatty soils to enhance fatty soil removal. Methods of cleaning surfaces using the cleaning composition are also disclosed.
PEPTIDE ACETALS FOR STABILISING ENZYMES
The present invention relates to a compound for stabilizing enzymes, the use of said compound for stabilizing an enzyme, a composition comprising said compound, a method of preparing the composition comprising said compound, a detergent composition comprising said compound and a method of preparing said compound.

Moderately alkaline cleaning compositions for proteinaceous and fatty soil removal at low temperatures
The present invention comprises chlorinated and non-chlorinated alkaline cleaning compositions for removal of proteinaceous and fatty soils at low temperature, i.e. less than 120° F., with little or no deleterious affect on cleaning performance. According to the invention, applicants have found that adding additional alkalinity makes protein removal more difficult and reducing the amount of alkalinity actually improves performance. According to the invention optimized combinations of chlorine and alkalinity components for low temperature cleaning as well as a surfactant system optimized for low temperature fatty soil removal are disclosed.

HYDROPHOBICALLY MODIFIED UREA ETHERS AS STRUCTURANTS FOR HYDROPHOBIC SYSTEMS
Consumer product compositions comprising hydrophobically modified urea ethers.
Aqueous hard surface cleaners based on terpenes and fatty acid derivatives
Aqueous hard surface cleaner compositions useful for removing permanent ink are disclosed. The compositions comprise 75 to 99 wt. % of water; 0.1 to 5 wt. % of a monoterpene; 0.1 to 5 wt. % of a C10-C17 fatty acid derivative; and 0.1 to 5 wt. % of one or more surfactants. The fatty acid derivative is selected from N,N-dialkyl amides, N,N-dialkyl esteramines, and N,N-dialkyl amidoamines. Preferably, a base such as sodium carbonate or monoethanolamine is also included. The invention includes concentrates comprising the non-aqueous components recited above, as well as other applications for the cleaners and concentrates such as graffiti removers and permanent ink erasers. The combination of a monoterpene and certain fatty acid derivatives, especially fatty N,N-dialkyl amides, unexpectedly enables even dilute aqueous compositions to rapidly decolorize black permanent marker from hard, non-porous surfaces.
