CLEANING COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING DISPERSINS VIII

Cleaning compositions may include a mix of enzymes that include dispersins and proteases. Said compositions may be used in cleaning processes and/or for deep cleaning of organic stains, and for removal or reduction of components of organic matter.

METHOD OF STAIN REMOVAL USING BACTERIAL SPORES

A method of facilitating stain removal from a fabric including treating the fabric directly with bacterial spores prior to a laundry process; and subsequently subjecting the fabric to a laundry process.

The disclosure is directed to cleaning compositions, methods of making the cleaning compositions, and methods of using the cleaning compositions. The cleaning compositions comprise an enzyme composition, a nonionic surfactant, and a quaternary amine. Preferably, the enzyme compositions included in the cleaning compositions comprise a cellulase, an AA9 polypeptide having cellulolytic enhancing activity, a hemicellulase, an esterase, an expansin, a laccase, a ligninolytic enzyme, a pectinase, a peroxidase, a protease, a swollenin, or a combination or mixture thereof. The compositions are useful for degradation of bacterial cellulose.

NOVEL ESTERASES AND USES THEREOF

The present invention relates to esterases, more particularly to esterase variants having improved activity and/or improved thermostability compared to the esterase of SEQ ID NO: 1 and the uses thereof for degrading polyester containing material, such as plastic products. The esterases of the invention are particularly suited to degrade polyethylene terephthalate, and material containing polyethylene terephthalate.
