REMOVER REAGENT FOR CURED SILICONE SEALANT AND METHOD USING SAME
The present disclosure provides a formula of a remover reagent for a cured silicone sealant and a method using the same. The remover reagent is prepared from an acid catalyst and a solvent each having a high boiling point and a high flash point. The acid catalyst is benzenesulfonic acid or alkylbenzenesulfonic acid. The solvent is mineral oil and/or silicone oil. The cured silicone sealant is first soaked with the remover reagent for 30 to 120 min, and then baked at a high temperature of 80 to 120? C. for 10 min or above into debris or powder, whereby the cured silicone sealant with a thickness of 10 mm or above can be removed. Moreover, the remover reagent has the advantages of readily available raw materials, high safety, environmentally friendliness, convenient preparation and good sealant removal effect, and thus, has good application prospects.
NON-CAUSTIC SOLID POWDER CLEANER COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THE USE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A non-caustic solid powder cleaner composition is disclosed herein, as well as a method of making and using the same. A benefit of the powder cleaner composition can be providing a compact, lightweight powder composition that can be easily and efficiently transported, stored, dispensed, and used for safely cleaning grill and oven surfaces.
Self-invertible inverse latex comprising, as an inverting agent, surfactant species of the polyglycerol ester family, use thereof as a thickening agent, and aqueous liquid detergent compositions comprising same for household or industrial use
Disclosed is a self-invertible inverse latex including, as an inverting agent, surfactant species of the polyglycerol ester family, the use thereof as a thickening and/or emulsifying and/or stabilising agent for a detergent or cleaning formulation for industrial or household use, and aqueous liquid detergent compositions including same, for household or industrial use.
SOLID FAST DRAINING/DRYING RINSE AID FOR HIGH TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLID WATER CONDITIONS
The present invention is a solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.
Personal protective equipment free delimer compositions o
General purpose liquid deliming compositions are disclosed. The compositions include acids, surfactants, and pH modifiers and are adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7. The composition may be used without personal protective wear or transportation restriction and demonstrate similar lime removal to other traditional lime removal compositions which are extremely low in pH and require protective gear by the user. The compositions also do not require the use of chelants, or builders for effective cleaning. Methods of using the deliming compositions are also disclosed.
FORMULATIONS AND PRODUCTION AND USE THEREOF
Described herein is a formulation including (A) at least one nonionic surfactant, (B) at least one graft copolymer formed from (a) at least one graft base selected from nonionic monosaccharides, disaccharides, oligosaccharides and polysaccharides, and side chains; and (C) a total of zero to 0.5% by weight of methylglycinediacetic acid (MGDA) and glutaminediacetic acid (GLDA) and alkali metal salts of MGDA and GLDA and a total of zero to 0.5% by weight of citric acid or an alkali metal salt of citric acid, where figures in % by weight are based in each case on a solids content of the formulation in question.
CLEANING COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF CLEANING AIR INTAKE VALVE DEPOSITS
A cleaning composition is particularly suited for cleaning dirty intake valves. The cleaning composition includes a high solvency surfactant/solvent which has a Kb greater than 100 or polar Hansen solubility parameter greater than 6. The surfactant/solvent is combined with an organic carrier and a surfactant. A wetting agent may also be employed. The cleaning composition is added to the intake air as a mist as the engine is running.
DETERGENT COMPOSITION, CLEANING METHOD, SOLVENT COMPOSITION, USE THEREOF AS SOLVENT FOR OIL, AND OIL COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
An object of the present invention is to provide a solvent and a detergent that have excellent basic properties as solvents or detergents, such as solubility, and that have a boiling point, flammability, toxicity, GWP, and ODP that are all within preferable ranges. To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a solvent composition or detergent composition comprising a hydrochlorofluoropropene represented by the formula: CX.sub.3CXCX.sub.2, wherein each X is the same or different and is F or Cl, at least one X is F, and at least three X are Cl; the hydrochlorofluoropropene having an atmospheric pressure boiling point of 50 C. or higher.
