Robotic uterine manipulators with rollable sleeves
A uterine manipulator includes an elongated shaft, a colpotomy cup supported on the elongated shaft, a distal shaft extending distally from the colpotomy cup to a distal tip, and a rollable sleeve supported on the distal tip.
WIDE HEMOSTASIS CLIP
A device for treating tissue includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the capsule releasably coupled to a proximal portion of the device and clip jaws, proximal ends of which are slidably received within the channel of the capsule so that the clip jaws are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. Clip jaws are configured so that a distance between the distal ends of the clip jaws in an open configuration is between 15 and 18 millimeters. Clip jaws further include barbs extending from a distal portion thereof.
RIB FRACTURE REPAIR DEVICE
The device of the present disclosure is configured for laparoscopic use, particularly to insert a fastener into a plate at an angle of up to 180° from the plane of insertion. The device is further configured to carry a plurality of fasteners, a tightening tool, a cutting device, and tweezers simultaneously to facilitate a rapid procedure while lessening the chance of infection by limiting the amount of times the device must be removed and re-inserted.
Method of operating surgical system
A method of operating a surgical system including an endoscope, a treatment tool, an overtube, and a sheathing tube. The method includes the following steps: removing the treatment tool from the sheathing tube inserted into a body cavity through a body wall in a state where the sheathing tube is covering an outer circumference of the overtube into which an insertion part of the endoscope and an insertion part of the treatment tool are inserted, while keeping a state where the sheathing tube is covering the outer circumference of the overtube; removing the endoscope from the overtube while keeping a state where the sheathing tube is covering the outer circumference of the overtube; and removing the sheathing tube from the body wall while keeping a state where the sheathing tube is covering the outer circumference of the overtube.
ELECTRODE APPARATUS
An electrode apparatus for nerve denervation or modulation in body includes a main body including a shaft; an electrode unit formed to be drawn out from one end of the shaft and configured to denervate or modulate at least some of nerves on a tube in the body; and an electrode guide deformed into a wound state to bring the electrode unit into contact with the tube in the body. The electrode guide includes a body portion which is spaced apart from the electrode unit to enclose the circumference of the tube in the wound state; and a coupling portion which is connected to the end of the body portion and to which an end of the electrode unit is fixed.
INTEGRATED ENDOSCOPIC LIGAMENT RELEASE DEVICE WITH DUAL HANDLES
Surgical instruments and methods of minimally invasive surgery are provided. The device may include two proximal handles each sized for a surgeon's hand, the two handles in fixed relative positions, and a distal probe attached to the handles. The probe can include a distal cutting member and contain or receive an imaging device. The system can be used for cutting anatomic members, such as ligaments, during minimally invasive surgical procedures, for example, performing endoscopic ligament release surgery, such as carpal tunnel release, plantar fasciotomy, gastrocnemius release, cubital tunnel release, and tarsal tunnel release surgery, and similar surgical procedures on anatomic members.
ENDOSCOPIC INSTRUMENT
An endoscopic instrument (1, 134), for inserting into a body of a patient, includes a tubular shank (3, 47, 137) and at least two electrical, mechanical and/or optical leads (11, 13, 15, 19, 57, 59, 65, 67, 123, 181) which run through the shank (3, 47, 137). The shank (3, 47, 137) in a bendable shank section (9, 49) includes a plurality of slots (33, 55, 64). The slots (33, 55, 64) extend in a circumferential direction only over a part of the shank periphery. The slots (33, 44, 64) are arranged axially to one another such that the slots alternately lie on a first lateral side of the shank (3, 47, 137) and a second lateral side of the shank (3, 47, 137) which lies diametrically opposite the first.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEALING A VASCULAR PUNCTURE
A closure system for delivering a sealant to an arteriotomy. A distal section of the closure system can include overlapping inner and outer sleeves that can expand with expansion of the sealant. A proximal section of the closure system can include a handle portion and a sheath adapter extending from the handle portion. The handle portion can comprise one or more actuators that when depressed or engaged can assist in deployment of the sealant in the arteriotomy and can further include tamping of the sealant and/or retraction of an expandable member. The sheath adapter can removably engage a side port or an irrigation line of a standard procedural sheath. When the sheath adapter is secured to the procedural sheath, movement of the closure system can also move the procedural sheath.
Surgical instrument
Provided is a surgical instrument including a first holding member, a sleeve member, a linkage member, a second holding member, a hook member and an opening/closing member. The second holding member is pivotally connected to the first holding member and when the second holding member moves relative to the first holding member, the linkage member is moved inside the sleeve member so as to drive the opening/closing member to move relative to the hook member. Through the movement of the opening/closing member of the surgical instrument, surrounding soft tissues, blood vessels or nerves that have strayed into the hook member can be pushed out so as not to be damaged by the hook member during surgery.
