PROSTHETIC SUTURING DEVICE AND METHODS THEREOF
A cassette is disclosed for use in a prosthetic suturing device. The cassette has a base. The base has a pair of pivots, a pair of alignment tabs, and at least one retention latch. The cassette also has a cover coupled to the base. The cover has at least one retention latch. The cover also defines one or more ferrule holders. The cassette further has one or more needles guided by the base and the cover. A surgical suturing device is also disclosed for use with a cassette. The suturing device has a cassette receiver and one or more needle drivers, each needle driver having a needle receiver positioned within the cassette receiver.
Body Lumen Occlusion Apparatus and Methods
Body lumen occlusion apparatus and methods are described.
Delivery device, system, and method thereof
Devices, methods and systems are provided for occluding an opening within the tissue of a body, such as a left atrial appendage. In one embodiment, a delivery system for use in occluding an opening in the tissue of a body includes an actuation assembly operatively coupled to a medical device including an anchor portion and an occluder portion. The actuation assembly is configured to move the anchor portion between a deployed state and retracted state while the occluder portion maintains a deployed state. With this arrangement, the deployed occluder portion can be visualized via imaging at a preferred position prior to deploying the anchor portion of the medical device.
Sleeve for delivery of embolic coil
An endovascular treatment system includes a delivery sleeve that is insertable into an intravascular catheter. A therapeutic device is housed coaxially within the delivery sleeve and both are advanced within the catheter in combination. An advancement mechanism is connected to the therapeutic device to advance the therapeutic device out of the delivery sleeve and into a patient. The delivery sleeve includes a stop positioned on the proximal end. The stop contacts the proximal end of the catheter, limiting the distance the delivery sleeve is inserted into a catheter.
Interventional medical device delivery system
An interventional medical device delivery system comprises a loader provided with a loading tube, a delivery sheath, a dilator, a pushing component, and a hemostasis valve. The loading tube or the delivery sheath is provided with a position-limiting locking connector. An appropriate-rotation control mechanism for controlling a tightening degree between a distal end of the loading tube and a proximal end of the delivery sheath is disposed outside the loading tube or the delivery sheath. The proximal end of the delivery sheath and the distal end of the loading tube engage with each other in a sealed manner, and are threadingly fixed to each other by means of the position-limiting locking connector. The appropriate-rotation control mechanism rotates in one direction to appropriately tighten a thread-connection, and rotates in the opposite direction to release the thread-connection. The interventional medical device conveying system of the invention automatically determines a tightening degree.
Button actuated needle loader
An apparatus for loading suture needles into a surgical instrument comprises a body, a drive member, a needle, and a button. The body has a channel configured to receive a surgical instrument. The drive member is configured to open a cover of a surgical instrument upon insertion of a surgical instrument into a channel of the body. The button is configured to deliver the suture needle to a surgical instrument after a surgical instrument has been inserted into the channel and the cover has been opened. The apparatus may further comprise a plate member configured to either prevent downward movement of the button before insertion of a surgical instrument, or participate in the delivery of the needle to a surgical instrument.
MEDICAL PLUG DELIVERY DEVICES WITH A ROTATABLE MAGAZINE AND RELATED COMPONENTS AND METHODS
Medical devices for delivering compositions or medical articles to a patient are disclosed. The medical plug delivery devices can include a fluid delivery device (e.g., a syringe), a frame, and a rotatable magazine. The rotatable magazine can include a plurality of chambers that each hold a composition or a medical article (e.g., a medical plug). By rotating the rotatable magazine relative to the frame, material within the chambers of the rotatable magazine can be sequentially deployed to a patient.
Micrograft for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms and method for use
A device for occluding a vasculature of a patient including a micrograft having an absorbent polymeric structure with a lumen of transporting blood. The micrograft has a series of peaks and valleys formed by crimping. The occluding device is sufficiently small and flexible to be tracked on a guidewire and/or pushed through a microcatheter to a site within the vasculature of the patient. Delivery systems for delivering the micrografts are also disclosed.
APPARATUSES FOR TREATING CARDIAC DYSFUNCTION
Described herein are implant loading and delivery systems for treating heart failure. An implant loading system may include a funnel having a flared first end and a second end, such that the flared first end is configured for receiving and collapsing the expandable implant, and a sleeve removably coupled to the second end of the funnel and configured to transfer the expandable implant to a guide catheter. The expandable device may have a foot for contacting a first interior wall portion of a heart, a support frame including a plurality of radially expandable struts, and a membrane coupled to the support frame. The expandable device may be coupled to a delivery catheter. An expansion member coupled to a distal end of the delivery catheter may apply pressure to the support frame of the expandable device to move the expandable device from a collapsed configuration to an expanded deployed configuration.
ENDOSCOPIC REPOSABLE SURGICAL CLIP APPLIER
A clip cartridge assembly for use with a reposable surgical clip applier includes a clip tray, a plurality of surgical clips, and a cover. The clip tray includes a plurality of distally oriented, deflectable, resilient fingers projecting from a base wall thereof. Each resilient finger terminates in a distal shoulder and a proximal end of the clip tray is configured for selective connection with a clip pusher bar of an endoscopic assembly of the reposable surgical clip applier. The cover includes a plurality of distally oriented, deflectable, resilient fingers projecting within a channel defined through proximal and distal ends thereof. Each resilient finger of the cover terminates in a distal shoulder and the cover includes a pair of opposed slots defined within sidewalls of the channel configured to slidably retain the clip tray and the plurality of surgical clips therein. A reposable surgical clip applier is also provided.
