Complex bacteria for improving corn steeping effects and usage thereof
Provided a complex bacteria for improving the corn steeping effects and usage thereof. The complex bacteria comprises strains capable of producing protease, cellulase and hemicellulase. Using the complex bacteria to steep corn, effects of reducing the addition amount of SO.sub.2, shortening the steeping time and improving the starch yield are achieved.
APPLICATION OF GLUTAMATE DEHYDROGENASE GDHA OF PEPTOSTREPTOCOCCUS ASACCHAROLYTICUS IN INCREASING YIELD OF POLY- r -GLUTAMIC ACID FROM BACILLUS LICHENIFORMIS
Application of glutamate dehydrogenase GdhA of Peptostreptococcus asaccharolyticus in increasing the yield of poly-γ-glutamic acid from Bacillus licheniformis. The glutamate dehydrogenase GdhA of the Bacillus licheniformis WX-02 per se is replaced with the glutamate dehydrogenase derived from the Peptostreptococcus asaccharolyticus by means of homologous recombination, which significantly increases the level of synthesizing the poly-γ-glutamic acid for the Bacillus licheniformis, and the yield of the obtained poly-γ-glutamic acid from strains is increased at least by more than 20% compared with control strains.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INCREASING THE ORGANIC YIELD OF A BIOLIQUID
Methods of processing municipal solid wastes (MSW) are provided whereby concurrent enzymatic hydrolysis and microbial fermentation of wastes results in liquefaction of biodegradable components as well as accumulation of microbial metabolites. Liquefied biodegradable components are then separated from nondegradable solids to produce a bioliquid characterized in comprising a large percentage of dissolved solids of which a large fraction comprises some combination of acetate, ethanol, butyrate, lactate, formate or propionate. This bioliquid is, itself, a novel biomethane substrate composition, which permits very rapid conversion to biomethane. Methods of biomethane production are further provided using this bioliquid and using other biomethane substrate compositions produced by concurrent enzymatic hydrolysis and microbial fermentation of organic materials.
Sporulation method of Bacillus bacterium
A method of producing Bacillus spores comprising a step of culturing the Bacillus bacterium using a liquid medium having a C/N ratio (weight ratio of carbon content to nitrogen content) of greater than 4 and less than 9.5.
Composition comprising bacillus
The present invention refers to a composition comprising Bacillus subtilis (DSM 17231) and Bacillus licheniformis (DSM 17236) with nematicidal effect against phytonematodes on plants and/or its habitat, to its use and process for its preparation, use of Bacillus subtilis (DSM 17231) and Bacillus licheniformis (DSM 17236), processes for controlling, combating and conferring specific resistance to phytonematodes, and a kit.
Compositions, probiotic formulations and methods to promote digestion and improve nutrition in poultry
The present disclosure relates to probiotic compositions, formulations and methods for promoting digestion and improving nutrition in birds, and probiotic compositions and formulations for increasing enzyme production and improving parameters and indications in birds.
FEED ADDITIVE FOR INCREASING VITAMINE E ABSORPTION
It has been found that administering probiotic Bacillus strains to animals improves vitamin E absorption. Thus, probiotic Bacillus strains can be used when animals are stressed, e.g. during weaning. The present invention relates to a Bacillus strain as a feed additive, which is useful for improving vitamin E absorption in animals.
MANAGEMENT OF PATHOGENIC LAWSONIA
The present invention relates to an animal feed or an animal feed additive comprising Bacillus strains which improve the health and performance of production animals, and the use of such.
FEED ADDITIVE COMPRISING BACILLUS SUBTILIS AND BACILLUS LICHENIFORMIS, A FEED COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE FEED ADDITIVE AND A METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE FEED ADDITIVE
The present invention relates to a feed additive comprising a Bacillus subtilis strain and a Bacillus licheniformis strain, a feed composition comprising the feed additive, and a method for producing the feed additive.
