COATED TOOL
20230126815 · 2023-04-27 ·

A coated tool includes a base and a coating layer on the base. The coating layer includes a first layer including Al.sub.2O.sub.3 particles, and a second layer on the first layer. The second layer includes, sequentially from the base, a first film, a second film in contact with the first film, and a third film in contact with the second film. The first to third films individually include Ti. The first film, the second film and the third film individually include at least one kind selected from C and N. The coated tool satisfies a relationship of a first N content>a third N content>a second N content, in which the first N content is an N content in the first film, the second N content is an N content in the second film, and the third N content is an N content in the third film.

Process of manufacture a nuclear component with metal substrate by DLI-MOCVD and method against oxidation/hydriding of nuclear component

Process for manufacturing a nuclear component comprising i) a support containing a substrate based on a metal (1), the substrate (1) being coated or not coated with an interposed layer (3) positioned between the substrate (1) and at least one protective layer (2) and ii) the protective layer (2) composed of a protective material comprising chromium; the process comprising a step a) of vaporizing a mother solution followed by a step b) of depositing the protective layer (2) onto the support via a process of chemical vapor deposition of an organometallic compound by direct liquid injection (DLI-MOCVD).

Described are lanthanide-containing metal coordination complexes which may be used as precursors in thin film depositions, e.g. atomic layer deposition processes. More specifically, described are homoleptic lanthanide-aminoalkoxide metal coordination complexes, lanthanide-carbohydrazide metal coordination complexes, and lanthanide-diazadiene metal coordination complexes. Additionally, methods for depositing lanthanide-containing films through an atomic layer deposition process are described.
