A seed storage device comprising a plurality of pods connected sequentially. Each pod is adapted to store one or more seeds and adapted to be breachable to facilitate releasing the seeds to a planting location. An associated method of storing seeds comprising placing one or more seeds into a pod of the seed storage device, and an associated method of planting seeds using the seed storage device, are also provided. A completed seed kit comprising the seed storage device with one or more seeds stored in one or more of the pods is also provided.

The present invention relates to a planting tool, comprising a tube element with an inlet end and an outlet end. It further comprises a ground support rotatably connected to the tube element via a pivot point. The ground support comprises a first part with a pedal area and a second part with a hatch area, a mechanism comprising a first clamp and a second clamp, wherein the mechanism in an open state prevents movement between the hatch area and the outlet end and maintains the hatch area at a distance from the outlet end by means of contact between the first and second clamp, and in a closed state prevents movement between the hatch area and the outlet end and maintains the hatch area in contact with the outlet end, and the first clamp comprising a switch allowing a user to change position of said first clamp to switch the state of the mechanism from the open state to the closed state.

An apparatus and method for repairing areas of damage on sports turf, and in particular a turf repair tool which can be used to repair pitch marks, blemishes and other areas of damage, for example on golf greens, by creating a seed bed using a first end of the turf repair tool and dispensing seed into the seed bed from a second end of the turf repair tool. The first end of the turf repair tool can create a seed bed of a predetermined size and shape and the second end of the turf repair tool can dispense a calibrated or predetermined amount of seed into the seed bed, allowing for optimal plant growth. Optionally, the turf repair tool can level the playing surface and/or protect the seed by dispensing coloured sand over the seed bed after the seed has been dispensed.

The apparatus comprises a foot bar and a handle bar, coupled to the elongated tube. The handle bar comprises a lever coupled to the shaft. Further, the apparatus comprises a container provided at the handle bar to store seeds. The container comprises a first conduit extended over the length of the elongated tube. A user of the apparatus applies pressure on the foot bar to insert the elongated tube in ground. The lever is operated to lift the container via the shaft and the piston such that the dirt collected in the container creates a hole in the ground. Subsequently, the seeds are made to fall in the hole through the first conduit. Further, the lever is operated to drop the dirt collected in the container into the hole to cover the seeds in the hole.

An apparatus for planting seeds comprises an elongated tube comprising a piston, a shaft coupled to the piston, and a cylinder coupled to the piston. The apparatus comprises a foot bar and a handle bar, coupled to the elongated tube. The handle bar comprises a lever coupled to the shaft. Further, the apparatus comprises a container provided at the handle bar to store seeds. The container comprises a first conduit extended over the length of the elongated tube. A user of the apparatus applies pressure on the foot bar to insert the elongated tube in ground. The lever is operated to lift the container via the shaft and the piston such that the dirt collected in the container creates a hole in the ground. Subsequently, the seeds are made to fall in the hole through the first conduit. Further, the lever is operated to drop the dirt collected in the container into the hole to cover the seeds in the hole.

A barrier to be arranged in a divot repair bottle includes a funnel and a spout, and the mouth of the funnel is to be removably connected to and sealed against the inner surface of the divot repair bottle such that the spout extends through a cap of the divot repair bottle. The barrier is configured to form a first compartment and a second compartment within the divot repair bottle, and the first compartment and the second compartment do not communicate with each other within the divot repair bottle.

A spreading control switch structure of a spreader has a spreading tube, a positioning member, a main tube and a switch unit. With the positioning member and the switch unit, the opening and closing state and the spreading amount of the present invention can be adjusted by the circular plate of the valve in the spreading tube. The size of the pipe in the spreading tube is opened to control the blanking amount. On the other hand, the circular plate of the valve can be kept opened in the spreading tube all time without the switching handle being pressed. Therefore, it is easier and less laborious to execute the spreading process.

A powered hand-held spreader device is disclosed that has a handle that allows a user to grip and hold the device with one hand. The spreader includes an adjustable shutter, controlled by a rotary dial, to allow for distribution of a range of different granular products that require different flow rates for distribution. The granular product is contained in a hopper. The product can be distributed over various types of terrain, including, but not limited to, lawns, gardens, and paths. The spreader is driven by an electric motor actuated by a trigger. A spinning rotor plate distributes the granular product fed from the hopper. A trigger lock is optionally available to lock the trigger in the on position during use and to prevent actuation when the trigger is in the off position. An adjustable side deflector optionally can be used to control the distribution pattern of the granular product.

A seeding device is provided. That seeding device includes a seeding paddle having a plurality of seed holders and a seed tray having a channel. The channel receives the seeding paddle so that seeds in the seed tray are easily directed into the plurality of seed holders. The paddle may then be removed from the seeding tray for planting seeds in a desired quantity at the desired spaced locations.
