A DEVICE FOR REDUCING THE REDOX POTENTIAL VALUE IN COLD POTABLE WATER
A device for reduction of redox potential value in cold potable water, according to the invention comprises a flow tank (1) with an inlet port (2) and an outlet port (3). The tank (1) is made 5 of chromium-nickel alloy steel, and comprises at least two cartridges (5) with bars (6) made of high-purity magnesium with the content of pure magnesium at least 99.95%, where the bars (6) extend into the inner space of the tank (1) through additional openings (7) and insulated from the tank (1). The 10 device further comprises a triggering unit (9) made up of a DC source (10) integrated with a control unit (11), where the plus pole of the triggering unit (9) is connected to the magnesium bars (6) and its minus pole is connected to the tank (1).
APATHOGENIC COATING OF AN OBJECT, OBJECT HAVING THE APATHOGENIC COATING AND METHOD FOR ARRANGING AN APATHOGENIC COATING ON AN OBJECT
An apathogenic (antimicrobial and/or antiviral) coating of an object surface of an object with at least one anode layer having at least one anode material and at least one cathode layer having at least one cathode material is provided, wherein the layers are designed such that a galvanic element is formed in the presence of moisture. Constituents of the pathogens are thus oxidatively destroyed. This inhibits the multiplication of pathogens on the object surface. Efficient disinfection of the object surface is possible. The aspect provided with the coating is in particular a medical implant, for example a stent.
Removal of materials from water
Various embodiments relate to an electrochemical cell for removal of materials from water and methods of using the same. A method of removing phosphorus from water includes immersing an electrochemical cell in water including phosphorus to form treated water including a salt that includes the phosphorus. The electrochemical cell includes an anode including Mg, Al, Fe, Zn, or a combination thereof, a cathode including Cu, Ni, Fe, or a combination thereof. The method includes separating the salt including the phosphorus from the treated water, to form separated water having a lower phosphorus concentration than the water including phosphorus.
Polarization and turbulent water ionizer intended for white and sanitary conveniences
The polarization and turbulent water ionizer intended for white goods and sanitary appliances comprising a hollow body with a system of through-flow openings for inlet and outlet of water fitted with systems of electrodes arranged inside in an alternating manner, made of differently conductive materials and stabilized within spacers is further resolved in a manner where the cylindrical or flat electrodes (1) of the anode and of the electrodes (2) of the cathode have turbulent openings (3) and/or deflected turbulent fans (4), where the hollow body (5) is fitted with a shield (6) protecting against electromagnetic field. In one embodiment the axes of the cylindrical electrodes (1) of the anode and of the electrodes (2) of the cathode are arranged inside the hollow body (5) and oriented perpendicularly to the through-flow openings (7). In the other case, the axes of the flat electrodes (1) of the anode and of the electrodes (2) of the cathode are arranged inside the hollow body (5) and oriented axially with reference to the through-flow openings (7). The shield (6) protecting against electromagnetic field applied on the inner side of the hollow body (5) refers to a metallic grid/gauze and/or a metallic plate.
Galvanic process for treating aqueous compositions
A method of treating an aqueous composition includes immersing a galvanic cell in the aqueous composition to form a treated aqueous composition. The galvanic cell includes an anode including Mg, Al, Fe, Zn, or a combination thereof. The galvanic cell includes a cathode having a different composition than the anode, the cathode including Cu, Ni, Fe, or a combination thereof.
Device for preventing the formation of lime scales
The present invention relates to a device for preventing the formation of lime scales in a water pipeline (11) comprising a main body (4) with an inlet (2) and an outlet (3), and an anti-scaling medium (5) configured to prevent the formation of lime scales, located within main body (4), between the inlet (2) and the outlet (3), comprising a galvanic cell, with at least one cathode element (7) and an anode sacrificial element (6), and a support medium (8) of the galvanic cell configured to be fixed to the main body (4); characterized in that the anode sacrificial element (6) is made of an alloy comprising zinc between 89.5-99.5% and aluminum between 0.5 and 10%.
TREATMENT OF AQUEOUS COMPOSITION WITH METAL COMPONENT
A method of treating feed water includes adding a metal component to the feed water to form a clarified aqueous composition.
MOBILE WATER FILTERING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a mobile water filtering system that is compact, lightweight, and capable of producing pure healthy water for numerous people in remote locations. In addition, the mobile water filtering system can include desalination so that ocean water can be purified to create drinking water. The system uses a low resistance sediment filter and a low resistance impurity filter prior to reverse osmosis filtration. Remineralization is provided of the filtered reverse osmosis water. A portable pump can be used together with a voltage regulator that allows application of a wide range of voltages from various voltage supplies.
