Online resourceful treatment method of electroless copper plating waste solution
The disclosure discloses an online resourceful treatment method of electroless copper plating waste solution. According to the disclosure, a copper catalyst is adopted to perform autocatalytic reaction on electroless copper plating waste solution in an autocatalytic reactor, copper simple substances are reduced from copper ions in the waste solution and recycled, the treated waste solution enters into a three-dimensional electrolyzer and a membrane filtration plant for further purification, the finally treated electroless copper plating waste solution meets water quality discharge standard, and the recovery rate of the copper simple substances can reach up to above 95%.
Device for decomplexation and enhanced removal of copper based on self-induced fenton-like reaction constructed by electrochemistry coupled with membrane separation, and use thereof
A device for decomplexation and enhanced removal of copper based on self-induced Fenton-like reaction constructed by electrochemistry coupled with membrane separation is disclosed. The device includes a reactor, two electrocatalytic anodes capable of generating hydroxyl radicals, an electrocatalytic cathode membrane assembly, a direct current power supply, an aeration system, an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The device of the present invention has a simple construction. Using this device to treat industrial wastewater containing copper complexes under specific conditions allows the decomplexation and the removal of the industrial wastewater containing the copper complexes to be simultaneously realized at a low consumption and a high efficiency. The coupling of electrochemistry with membrane separation can be achieved to protect the cathode from being contaminated by pollutants in the sewage and prolong the service life of the electrode.
Current Reversal Tolerant Multilayer Material, Method of Making the Same, Use as an Electrode, and Use in Electrochemical Processes
The invention provides an electrode comprising a substrate and a coating on the substrate. The coating comprises a plurality of layers, including the following layers in sequence moving outwardly from the substrate: a base layer comprising an oxide of a valve metal; a lower layer comprising an oxide of a platinum group metal and/or an oxide of a precious metal; and a mixed oxide primary layer comprising both: (i) an oxide of a platinum group metal and/or an oxide of a precious metal, and (ii) an oxide of a valve metal and/or an oxide of a group 15 metal. The base layer is devoid of any platinum group metal oxide, and the lower layer is devoid of any valve metal oxide. The present invention also provides methods of manufacturing such electrodes. Also provide are methods of using an electrochemical cell equipped with a certain multilayer coated electrode.
Carcass cleaning system
A carcass cleaning system. Specifically, a system for cleaning an animal carcass using potable water passed through an offline treatment system and the application of this treated water to the surface of the carcass, for example, by running through a bath or by spraying or nebulisation at or onto the surface of the carcass. The invention finds utility in the fields of butchery and slaughtering of animals in the preparation for sale as meat.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEDIATION OF PFAS CONTAMINATION IN AN ENVIRONMENT
A method of moderating concentration of at least highly fluorinated alkyl materials from a contaminated aqueous feed liquid containing an original composition of between 60 parts per trillion and 300 parts per billion of the at least highly fluorinated materials per liter of water into an aqueous electronic separator having at least three chambers including a feed chamber having a liquid exit port from which a mediated aqueous contaminated feed liquid exits and a liquid input port into which the contaminated aqueous feed liquid enters the feed chamber; an anodic electrode chamber filled with an aqueous anodic liquid; and a cathodic electrode chamber filled with an aqueous cathodic liquid; wherein the feed chamber is between and adjacent to the anodic electrode chamber and the cathodic electrode chamber and the feed chamber is separated from each of the anodic electrode chamber and the cathodic electrode chamber by at least one semipermeable membrane.
METHOD FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF ORGANIC MATERIAL
A method and apparatus for the electrochemically mediated oxidation of radioactive organic materials comprising the step of mixing aqueous phase that contains the oxidising agent with immiscible non-aqueous phase containing organic material that is to be destroyed in a chamber fitted with a contactor to integrate the aqueous phase with the organic material.
Wastewater Treatment Membrane Electro Membrane
In an apparatus for treating wastewater, water is screened, biologically treated and coagulated with the addition of chemicals before it is drawn through a membrane filter to produce permeate that is then passed through an electro-chemical cell to coagulate and/or oxidize residual contaminants such as phosphorous, nitrogen, or ammonia, and is then passed through a secondary membrane filter to capture and remove any remaining contaminants.
Method to remediate effluents containing metals complexed with organic and/or inorganic species
Described is a system and corresponding method for remediating liquid waste streams. The system includes an electro-oxidation (EO) chamber, an electro-deposition (ED) chamber, and an electro-adsorption (EA) chamber. In the method, a waste stream is subjected to electro-oxidation, followed by electro-deposition and/or electro-adsorption. The method removes both organic and inorganic pollutants, as well as metals present as free ions or bound into organic or inorganic complexes.
