Electro-analytical system for monitoring total organic carbon in a water source
An automated total organic carbon analyzer is described. Embodiments of the system include two features, namely the development of a selective oxidation reactor to oxidize organic contaminants to their corresponding organic acids, and the measurement of the organic acids individually by chain length using an electroanalytical detector. Combining this electroanalytical approach with sequential detection capabilities (such as spectrophotometry) can expand the instrument capabilities by providing organic contaminant speciation. The described reactor performs selective oxidation of organic carbon to organic acids followed by complexation with a proprietary ligand, then selective detection using electroanalytical accumulation and desorption of organic acids performed at an electrode surface.
PHOTOELECTROCATALYTIC DEVICE FOR WATER DISINFECTION

RECIRCULATING, PURIFYING, DISINFECTING, COOLING, DECONTAMINATING, DECRYSTALLIZING FEEDBACK CONTROLLED WATER SYSTEM FOR DRINKING WATER AND OTHER USES TO IMPROVE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF ANIMALS AND HUMANS
A water purification system provides clean water for the consumption by livestock by using a continuously recirculating water loop. A circulating pump moves the water and a particle filter system is fluidically connected in series. An ozone purification system is fluidically connected in parallel to a portion of the continuously recirculating feedback monitored and control water loop. The ozone purification system is disposed downstream of the particle filter system in relation to the flow direction. A feeding station is connected in series with the continuously recirculating water loop disposed downstream of the ozone purification system in relation to the flow direction. An alkaline water apparatus is disposed upstream of the ozone purification unit, connected either before or in parallel to the ozone purification system. A decrystallization process apparatus is connected to continuously solubilize gases of CO2, N2, and inert gases with the flowing water.
Methods of separating and isolating water and other desired constituents from oilfield produced brines
An integrated, membrane-based process to produce purified water and conversion of salt to high value chemicals from oil and gas well produced water is described. A liquid stream including water and dissolved salt is flowed through pretreatment units and one or more desalination and concentration units which remove at least a portion of the water to form a brine enriched in dissolved salt. The purified high-density brine may be subjected to electrically-enforced salt dissociation techniques to produce chemicals from oil and gas produced water.

A water purification system provides clean water for the consumption by livestock by using a continuously recirculating water loop. A circulating pump moves the water within the water loop in a flow direction. A particle filter system is fluidically connected in series and removes dissolved solids or particulates within the water. An ozone purification system and/or with the addition of other antimicrobial or purification agents is fluidically connected in parallel to a portion of the continuously recirculating feedback monitored and control water loop.
