An aeration device pertaining to the technical field of sewage treatment includes a flow mixing chamber and an air inlet chamber. The flow mixing chamber has a liquid inlet opening, a liquid outlet opening, and an air inlet hole penetrating the chamber wall and located inside the air inlet chamber. The air inlet chamber has an air inlet opening and an interior space whose cross-sectional area is gradually reduced along the liquid flow direction in the flow mixing chamber. The cross-sectional area and number of the air inlet hole can be properly set in order for the mixed fluid produced by the aeration device to have relatively high-density small-diameter air bubbles that contribute to mixing the liquid flow and air flow sufficiently, dissolving oxygen rapidly and sufficiently into the liquid flow, increasing the oxygen dissolution rate of the mixed fluid, and enhancing aeration efficiency.

A method of treating oil and gas produced water may include: receiving produced water from one or more wells; separating an aqueous portion of the produced water from oil and solids included in the produced water in order to provide recovered water; performing anaerobic bio-digestion of organic matter included in the produced water using a biomass mixture of anaerobic bacteria obtained from a plurality of wells; aerating the recovered water in order to promote metal precipitation; and performing aerobic bio-digestion of organic matter present in the recovered water. Some embodiments may also include one or more of anoxic equalization, filtration, pasteurization, reverse osmosis, and biocide treatment of the recovered water. The recovered water may be used for oil and gas well fracking and/or land and stream application. Other methods of treating oil and gas produced water are also described.

FLUID REMANUFACTURING

Waste water is remanufactured with ozone in a series of mixing vessels. The ozone is dispersed to both a top and a bottom portion of each mixing vessel, but in different amounts. This creates an electrical potential difference across the height of each mixing vessel which significantly improves the oxidation of organic carbon-based impurities and eliminates H.sub.2S and bacteria. Sludge and solids floating to the top of each mixing vessels are removed, as well as sludge and solids settling to the bottom of the mixing vessels. When oil and gas well waste water is treated in this manner, the resulting treated water is purified and has a high salt content suitable for oil or gas well injection.

Method of Continuous Temperature Stabilization and Effluent Cooling Using Bioremediation Elements inside Grease Interceptors, FOG's, Vaults and other Waste Collection Enclosures
20200223725 · 2020-07-16 ·

A method to continuously stabilize and cool effluent temperatures in FOG (Fats, Oils and Greases) discharged into Grease Traps (GT) or Grease Interceptors (GI). Temperature stabilization/cooling became necessary with the introduction of water efficient dish washing systems that produce discharge water too high in temperature to maintain a functioning grease interceptor/trap. This temperature stabilization/cooling is achieved with Bio-Elements located inside the grease interceptor or grease trap, therefore representing an in-situ process.

Temperature stabilization/cooling is achieved by continuously measuring the effluents' temperature inside the FOG enclosure and by controlling air pumps to achieve the necessary cooling to restore the GT/GI designed function. Said air supplies the needed oxygen to maintain an aerobic biofilm suitable for bioremediation, maintain flow through the Bio-Elements, and also to cool the effluent, which is typically too high in temperature to enable effective bioremediation or function of a grease interceptor.
