Fabrication Method of Semiconductor Device
A method of fabricating a semiconductor device, which includes a separation step and has a high yield, is provided. A metal layer is formed over a substrate, fluorine is supplied to the metal layer, and the metal layer is then oxidized, whereby a metal compound layer is formed. A functional layer is formed over the metal compound layer, heat treatment is performed on the metal compound layer, and the functional layer is separated from the substrate with use of the metal compound layer. By performing first plasma treatment using a gas containing fluorine, fluorine can be supplied to the metal layer. By performing second plasma treatment using a gas containing oxygen, the metal layer supplied with fluorine can be oxidized.

Surface having properties that reduce light scattering by water condensation and method for the production thereof
Surface having properties for reducing diffuse light due to water condensation, wherein the antifog means consist in atomic aggregates adhered to and dispersed over the surface, wherein the aggregates are selected among the transition metals and the silicon. It is also related to a method for obtaining a surface having properties for reducing diffuse light due to water condensation a wavelength selected in the range from 100 nm to 50 micrometers, comprising the steps of selecting the wavelength, obtaining a glass or polymer surface that has been subjected to optical polishing and adhering to the surface atomic aggregates which are selected among the transition metals and the silicon with a separation between them being lower than or having an order of the selected wavelength selected. Thus a durable antifogging surface is obtained.

A material includes a transparent substrate on which is deposited a stack of layers including n silver-based metal functional layers and n+1 dielectric sets of layers, with n3 and each silver-based metal functional layer being placed between two dielectric sets of layers. The dielectric set of layers located below the first silver-based metal functional layer starting from the substrate and the dielectric set of layers located above the last silver-based metal functional layer starting from the substrate each include a high-refractive-index layer, the value of the index2.15 at the wavelength of 550 nm; the value of the refractive index of at least one of the high-index layers2.40 at the wavelength 550 nm; and the value of the ratio of the optical thickness of each of the high-refractive-index layers to the optical thickness of the dielectric set of layers in which it is included is included between 0.25 and 0.55.
Interior Coatings for Glass Structures in Electronic Devices
An electronic device may include electrical components and other components mounted within a housing. The device may have a display on a front face of the device and may have a glass layer that forms part of the housing on a rear face of the device. The glass layer and other glass structures in the electronic device may be provided with coatings. An interior coating on a glass layer may include multiple layers of material such as an adhesion promotion layer, thin-film layers of materials such as silicon, niobium oxide and other metal oxides, and metals to help adjust the appearance of the coating. A metal layer may be formed on top of the coating to serve as an environmental protection layer and opacity enhancement layer. In some configurations, the coating may include four layers.
