A system of devices for treating an artery includes an arterial access sheath adapted to introduce an interventional catheter into an artery and an elongated dilator positionable within the internal lumen of the sheath body. The system also includes a catheter formed of an elongated catheter body sized and shaped to be introduced via a carotid artery access site into a common carotid artery through the internal lumen of the arterial access sheath. The catheter has an overall length and a distal most section length such that the distal most section can be positioned in an intracranial artery and at least a portion of the proximal most section is positioned in the common carotid artery during use.

Apparatus and methods for accessing and removing material from body lumens

An apparatus and method are provided for accessing and/or removing material from a body lumen. The apparatus includes a tubular sheath including a shaft having a proximal end and an expandable distal end that is expandable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded, tapered configuration. A treatment member can be introduced into the body lumen through the tubular sheath. The treatment member includes one or more expandable members to interact with the material to be removed from the body lumen.

Specimen retrieval system for use in endoscopic surgery

A specimen retrieval system for easier tissue removal during endoscopic surgery. The devices include a specimen tube with a main tube, and a mechanism for pulling and everting the distal end of the tube into the tube, or a side channel provided within the tube. The mechanism may include a tether fixed to the distal edge of the tube, or a grasper operable to grasp the distal edge of the tube.

ENDOSCOPIC CANNULA

An endoscopic cannula, including: a handle; a sheath; a core rod disposed in the sheath and capable of sliding along an axial direction of the sheath. The core rod includes a first channel, a second channel, and a third channel. The handle includes a first joint configured to guide a lead wire into the first channel, a second joint configured to guide water into the second channel, and a third joint configured to guide an endoscope into the third channel. The sheath includes a first end and a second end, and the second end is disposed in the handle.

WORKING CHANNEL DEVICE FOR AN ENDOSCOPIC TOOL

An articulating working channel system for use with a plurality of flexible tools which are adapted to be interleaved in a single surgical procedure, comprising: a working channel subassembly including a hollow flexible shaft; and a surgical tool subassembly including the flexible tool, wherein the flexible tool includes a flexible tube which is adapted to be inserted into the flexible shaft and wherein the flexible shaft is adapted to be articulated and the flexible tube is adapted to be passively articulated therewith.

SURGICAL RETRACTOR AND METHOD

A surgical retractor comprises at least one blade including a first arm and a second arm spaced apart from the first arm. The at least one blade further including a member being disposed with the arms to support at least one surgical instrument in a selected orientation relative to a surgical site. Surgical systems, instruments, constructs, implants and methods are disclosed.

Clot evacuation and visualization devices and methods of use

An integrated clot evacuation device having visualization for use in neurosurgical applications, particularly for the evacuation of clots formed as a result of intracranial hemorrhage (ICH). The device may further include an integrated camera and light for visualizing the interior of the brain and the clot itself. Further, the device is configured to evacuate clots through aspiration and irrigation.

A medical device may include a shaft and an end-effector extending distally of the shaft. The end-effector may be expandable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The end-effector may include a proximal nose and a distal body. The proximal nose may have a radial dimension smaller than a radial dimension of the distal body in the expanded configuration. The end-effector may include a plurality of legs and a transition point of each leg may be located between the nose and the distal body along a common plane normal to the shaft. The shaft may include proximal ends of the legs wrapped about one another.
