An apparatus for removing meat from crustacean legs includes a conveyor, and a plurality of leg meat extraction rollers. The conveyor has a plurality of leg slots arranged in a machine direction, each leg slot extending laterally in a cross-machine direction. The leg meat extraction rollers are positioned adjacent the conveyor laterally outwardly of the leg slots and oriented to receive crustacean legs moved laterally outwardly from the leg slots.

Device for loosening bones from a meat piece such as ribs from a belly piece of slaughtered animal

Disclosed is a device for loosening bones such as ribs from a meat piece from slaughtered animals such as pigs. The bone puller such as rib puller can be hand-held and e.g. pneumatic activated or connected to a robot, and is much easier to use than prior art pneumatic rib pullers and also impose less working stress upon the user. The bone puller may comprise a counter hold for supporting the device towards a belly piece from a slaughtered animal, a string for loosening a bone, a movable pull bar for pulling the string, and a holding-down bar for holding down a bone while loosening this bone. The device may further comprise loading means located at the end of the holding-down bar such that the string can surround the loading means and where this loading means secure feeding of the string around an exposed bone end before loosening this bone.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING MEAT FROM BONE

An apparatus and method for separating meat from bone. Meat-laden bones are fed to a compression screw rotating within a barrel. The compression screw and the barrel cooperate to progressively compress the meat-laden bones to force the meat-laden bones radially outward against an inner wall of the barrel as the meat-laden bones move axially along the compression screw. At least a portion of the meat is separated from the meat-laden bones by forcing the meat through apertures in the barrel while inhibiting the meat-laden bones from co-rotating along within the barrel with the compression screw. In one embodiment, inhibiting the meat-laden bones from co-rotating within the barrel along with the compression screw is accomplished by cooperation of guide channels extending axially along an inner surface of the barrel with curved fillets extending between a root of the compression screw and screw flights of the compression screw.

Method and system for deboning of a carcass leg part of a four-legged slaughter animal, for removing meat from a bone of the carcass leg part

A method and system of removing meat from a bone of a carcass leg part, includes the subsequent steps of: a) holding, by a support device, of the leg part, b) moving a meat removing device: into a pre-cut, c) then away from the support device along the bone to a first end position so that meat is removed from the bone, d) then away from the bone, forcing meat away from the bone and severing further meat from the bone, e) then towards the support device, f) and then towards the bone, g) and then again away from the support device along the bone to a second end position distanced further from the support device than the first end position so that further meat is removed from the bone.

Bone-meat separator

A bone-meat separator includes a chassis, a driving mechanism, a transmission shaft, a spiral shaft, a feed hopper, a pressurization portion and a bone-meat separation portion. In this design, a separation spiral shaft portion is a conical spiral shaft; the bone-meat separation portion is a conical component coaxially sheathed on the periphery of the separation spiral shaft portion, and an inner wall of the bone-meat separation portion is in clearance fit with an outer wall of the separation spiral shaft portion. With regard to the bone-meat separator, since the inner wall of the bone-meat separation portion and the outer wall of the spiral shaft are always in a stable clearance fit state, the service life is improved.
