A hand-held electromechanical surgical device is configured to selectively connect with a surgical accessory. The surgical device includes a power-pack, an outer shell housing, and a gasket. The power-pack is configured to selectively control a surgical accessory. The outer shell housing includes a distal half-section and a proximal half-section, the distal half-section and the proximal half-section together defining a cavity configured to selectively encase substantially the entire power-pack therein. The gasket is located between the distal half-section and the proximal half-section of the outer shell housing. The gasket is configured to create a seal between the distal half-section and the proximal half-section and to provide a sterile barrier between the power-pack and an outside environment outside the outer shell housing.
Face Mask Dispenser
The facemask dispensing device an apparatus that is intended to dispense a protective equipment such as masks to a user before entering a building or other location. The dispenser allows a user to extract a single use mask without having to touch other surfaces or masks contained in the dispenser. The dispenser is provided a body which houses a plurality of masks and a mounting plate that may allow for the dispenser to be mounted onto a wall. The plurality of masks may be push towards a front of the dispenser to an opening where a user can simply grab a mask to wear. Each of the plurality of masks may be contained in a package to further prevent contamination of other masks positioned inside the dispenser. Furthermore, the dispenser may be positioned in a vertical manner instead of being mounted onto a wall.

This disclosure describes a device comprising: (a) a first component for providing a means for securing acupuncture needles that are disposed in bulk-style packaging when such bulk-style package is opened; and (b) a second component for providing a mounting and resting surface for the first component. The first component and the second component may be coupled together by a coupling mechanism disposed therebetween. The device may permit an acupuncture practitioner to remove an acupuncture needle from bulk packaging, without accidentally touching the shaft of an adjacent or another acupuncture needle contained within the same bulk packaging, or accidentally spilling needles in an open package while moving packaging around during treatment.

Modular storage system for medical needles
A modular storage system is described for storing and/or shielding a hypodermic needle which includes a modular needle container element for storing and/or shielding a hypodermic needles. The system includes a compartment for storing the needle, defined by first and second walls configured to be end walls, and a front wall and a rear wall extending between the first and second walls; each of the first and second walls has an outer surface directed away from the compartment, and each of the first and second walls include either a male connector on the outer surface of the wall or a female connector extending through the wall. The male connector includes a clip arm and the female connector includes a slot, such that the male connector is configured for engagement in a snap-fit manner to the female connector in the first or second wall of a second container element.
Method of Disposing of Waste Receiver, Waste Receiver for Pharmaceutical Waste and Method of Assembling the Waste Receiver
A waste disposal system (30) with a waste receiver (32) for receiving pharmaceutical waste material. A locking assembly (34) is secured to a fixed surface and actuated from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration. A lock cylinder of the locking assembly may extend forward of a front wall (44) of a receiver body (36) of the waste receiver to engage a locking feature of a cover (82) in the locked configuration. A cover retention feature (124) may prevent axial decoupling of the cover from the receiver body. The receiver body may be formed from two shells (62,64). A reaction agent (150) is positioned within the container volume and spaced apart from a bottom wall of the receiver body. The reaction agent may be positioned within the container volume between the lock passageway (94) and/or a solid receiver volume, and opposing sidewalls of the receiver body. A support may maintain the position of the reaction agent within the container volume.
