PACKAGING SLEEVE FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES
Packaging sleeve for medical purposes for storing sterile objects (25, 45), consisting of at least one outer sleeve (2) that is open at one end and can be sealed with a sealing closure (10) and has an inner sleeve (12) accommodated in it with a clamping effect, wherein the inner sleeve (12) is accommodated in a clamping seating in a receiving opening (15) in the sealing closure (10) on the bottom side of the outer sleeve (2) and the clamping seat thereby formed presses the sealing ribs (7, 55, 56, 59) arranged on the outside circumference of the sealing closure (10) against the inside of the outer sleeve (2) under increased contact pressure (FIG. 1).
Universal Handle Cover
An apparatus to cover a target handle (220) constituted of: a flexible bag (20) open at one end (25); an annular skirt (30) and a plurality of uniform length skirt fingers (60) extending towards a longitudinal axis (120) of said annular skirt (30), the extension of each skirt fingers (60) attached to the adjacent skirt finger (60) by a skirt connection member (140) to form a skirt band (150); and a securing ring (40) arranged to mate securely with said annular skirt (30) and a plurality of uniform securing ring fingers (100) extending towards the longitudinal axis (120), the extension of each securing ring finger (100) attached to the adjacent securing ring finger (100) by a connection member to form a securing ring band (200). Preferably, at least one of the skirt band (150) and the securing ring band (200) is broken when the apparatus is set to cover the target
Protective container for sterilized medical implants
A protective container for a sterilized medical implant includes a base including a hollow body having a closed end and an opened end. The base including a thread. A cap is secured about the opened end of the hollow body. The cap includes a thread that cooperates with the thread provided on the base such that relative rotation of the base and the cap causes relative axial movement of the base and the cap. A sealing member is compressed between the base and the cap to provide a seal therebetween as a result of relative axial movement of the base and the cap.
Shipping and aggregation system for medical sharps
The disclosure relates to a container for shipping, storing, dispensing, and receiving units for storing, dispensing, and receiving medical sharps, wherein the container includes a plurality of compartments, said compartments each being capable of containing one unit for storing, dispensing, and receiving medical sharps and to a method of using said container to store, dispense, receive, and ship said units.
STERILE CASE FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES USED IN MEDICAL PROCEDURES
A sterile case for an electronic device used during medical procedures includes a rigid housing with at least one transparent face. An opening in the housing permits movement of the device into and out of the housing in, for example, a direction parallel to the length or width of the housing. A door attached to the housing moves between open and closed positions to seal the opening. A sleeve is configured to be received, when the door is in the open position, partially within the housing and to extend outward from the housing through the opening. The sleeve defines a bore aligned with the opening and configured to receive the device and to permit insertion of the device through the sleeve into the housing without contact between the device and a rim of the housing surrounding the opening.
Instrument drape
A surgical drape for providing a localized instrument sterility barrier includes: a tube having a proximal end and a distal end, the tube defining an interior bore sized to receive an elongated shaft of a surgical instrument; and a port coupler at the distal end of the tube, the port coupler configured to couple the distal end of the tube to a surgical port through which the elongated shaft extends. The tube is collapsible to accommodate relative movement between the instrument and the surgical port during a surgical procedure.
PROTECTIVE CONTAINER FOR STERILIZED MEDICAL IMPLANTS
A storage device and protective container assembly for a sterilized medical implant includes a base including a hollow body having a closed end and an opened end. The base includes a thread. A cap is secured about the opened end of the hollow body. The cap includes a thread that cooperates with the thread provided on the base. A storage device includes a first cup-shaped body portion and a second cup-shaped body portion cooperating together to define an interior space. Each of the first cup-shaped body portion and the second cup-shaped body portion include a flange extending about the opened end of a respective one of the first cup-shaped body portion and the second cup-shaped body portion. The storage device is received within the base.
Container for biologic samples and method for their preservation
A container (1) for biologic samples has a lower receptacle (2), an upper receptacle (3) for a toxic liquid (LF) or considered as such, having a radial ring (63), and a connecting sleeve (4) with a circumferential rim (54) and a transversal septum (40), provided with a central vent opening (55) and with a plurality of transfer openings (51) for the transfer of toxic liquid (LF). The toxic liquid (LF) is sealed between the upper receptacle (3) and the transversal septum (40) before unscrewing the upper receptacle until its radial ring (63) touches the circumferential rim (54). When unscrewing the upper receptacle (3), the toxic liquid (LF) reaches and passes through the plurality of transfer openings (51), and air contained in the lower receptacle (2) flows into the upper receptacle (3) through the central vent opening (55), without any exit of gases and liquids from the container (1).
STERILE PACKAGING WITH INTEGRATED DAMPING
A medicinal sterile packaging for packaging a medicinal product includes a first sterile barrier designed to receive the medicinal product in a heat-sealed/sealed manner. A second sterile barrier forms a receiving space for receiving the first sterile barrier in a heat-sealed/sealed manner. An outer protective packaging receives the first sterile barrier and the second sterile barrier. The second sterile barrier is a film that forms at least two air pockets separated from one another in the film by a predefined fold-over or folding edge. When the film is folded over along the fold-over or folding edge, the two air pockets come to lie one on top of the other in alignment, such that the receiving space can be produced between them.
Menstrual cup case
The present invention generally relates to a carrying and cleaning case for a menstrual cup. In particular, the carrying and cleaning case for a menstrual cup is configured with at least two, but preferably three, segments comprising of a cleaning segment and a drying segment. The exterior of the case is configured with finger grips to prevent slippage.
