METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PACKAGING AND PREPARING A PROSTHETIC VALVE DELIVERY SYSTEM
Packaging assemblies for a prosthetic valve delivery apparatus are described herein. As an example, an assembly can include a packaging tray comprising a plurality of recesses configured to receive components of a prosthetic valve delivery system, the tray having a first end portion, a second end portion, and a middle portion extending from the first end portion to the second end portion. The assembly includes a delivery apparatus disposed within a set of one or more first recesses of the tray such that a shaft of the delivery apparatus has a curved section forming a 180-degree bend along a distal half of the shaft, the curved section positioned within the first end portion, and a crimping device configured to be received within a second recess of the tray that is positioned within the middle portion, where a valve mounting portion of the delivery apparatus is adjacent the crimping device.
Medical container packaging
A packaging for medical containers includes a tub having a bottom wall with at least one aperture through the bottom wall, and peripheral sidewalls extending from a periphery of the bottom wall. The peripheral sidewalls include a peripheral flange along top edges of the peripheral sidewalls, and the peripheral sidewalls form an opening at a top of the tub opposite to the bottom wall. The packaging includes an insert of porous material connected to the tub a disposed over the at least one aperture through the bottom wall, a nest to support a plurality of medical containers, and a sealing layer connected to the peripheral flange to seal the opening at the top of the tub.
Strip package for antiseptic cap
A syringe assembly includes (1) a syringe barrel defining a chamber; (2) a plunger mounted in the chamber and moveable with respect to the barrel; and (3) a cap assembly containing a cap and an absorbent material is removably attached to the plunger. A strip package includes at least two cap assemblies. Each of the cap assemblies includes a cap holder and an antiseptic cap positioned in the cap holder. The antiseptic cap includes a sidewall defining a chamber and an antiseptic substance within the chamber. A strip extends over at least two cap assemblies. The strip includes a first seal engaged to the cap holder and a second seal engaged to the antiseptic cap.
Dock holder, packaging, and methods of use
A container configured to receive a dock assembly therein for packaging is disclosed. The container can include: a base defining an engagement surface configured to receive the dock assembly; a lid configured to releasably engage with the base such that at least a portion of the dock assembly is disposed between the base and the lid; and a dock holder affixed to the container and configured to receive a first portion of the dock assembly comprising two or more adjacent coils thereon. The dock holder can comprise a protrusion configured to engage the first portion of the dock assembly and space a second portion of the dock assembly away from the dock holder.
Tray for assisting with endovascular surgery
A tray used during endovascular surgery includes an upper tray and a lower tray. The upper and lower trays are removably attachable from one another and each includes a first forward side, a second rear side, a third lateral side and a fourth lateral side. The upper tray includes a saline reservoir and the lower tray includes a wire cavity, a wire path and a sponge. The wire path connects the wire cavity with one or more apertures in the first side of the lower tray and the sponge is located within the wire path such that wires can be inserted into any of the one or more apertures, pass through the sponge, along the wire path and into the wire cavity where the wires will coil.
DOCK HOLDER, PACKAGING, AND METHODS OF USE
A dock holder configured to releasably secure a dock assembly to a container is disclosed. The dock holder includes a cylindrical body defining an exterior surface, where the dock holder is configured to receive a first portion of the dock assembly comprising two or more adjacent coils thereon, and where the exterior surface is configured to contact the first portion of the dock assembly. The dock holder further includes a protrusion configured to engage the first portion of the dock assembly and space a second portion of the dock assembly away from the dock holder, where the protrusion extends outward from the exterior surface in a radial direction and is configured to separate the two or more adjacent coils of the first portion of the dock assembly from one another.
Self sampling universal kit, methods and use
The present invention relates to a self-sampling kit and method for the universal sampling of at least one specimen such as a cell, cell residue, DMA, RNA, protein, virus, bacterium, parasite or fungus from the vaginal and/or rectal cavities of humans and animals, said kit comprising a self-sampling cloth (10) made of a flexible fabric with an absorbency of 3.5 g/g or less and a sealable recipient (50) for storing and transporting said sampling cloth (10). The present invention also relates to the use of the self-sampling cloth (10) for self-sampling of at least one specimen from bodily cavities of humans and animals, for instance for diagnosing an STI, such as an HPV infection.
