Package for capsule endoscope
The present invention discloses a package for a capsule endoscope. The package includes an inner package. The inner package includes a base and a cover arranged above the base. A first end of the cover is connected to a first side of the base and a second end of the cover is connected to a second side of the base in an assembled mode. When the second end of the cover is assembled and connected to the second side of the base, the bottom surface of the cover and the base form an holding slot for holding the capsule endoscope. Through such arrangement, the present invention improves the existing package and avoids a reduction of performance of the capsule endoscope during transportation.
Method and apparatus for intraoperative measurements of anatomical orientation
Electronic devices that detect their position and/or orientation with respect to earth's frame of reference are described. A coupler can removeably maintain the electronic devices in physical proximity of one another. Each electronic device can have a housing and the coupler can be included on the housing and arranged to physically connect the housing of the electronic device to the housing of at least one other electronic device. Alternatively, the coupler can be a packaging that maintains the electronic devices in physical proximity of one another. Each electronic device can be calibrated using the orientation or position information obtained by other electronic devices maintained by the coupler. Further, each electronic device can include a power source that remains inactive until the device is ready for use.
Urinary Catheter-Insertion Kits
Urinary catheter-insertion kits can include an upper tray fixed to a lower tray and a separator wall positioned over at least a portion of the urinary catheter assembly. The upper tray can include a preformed catheter section configured to accommodate a urinary catheter of a urinary catheter assembly, and a cutout formed through an end portion of the catheter section. A drainage system of the urinary catheter assembly can be disposed in the lower tray, the drainage system including drainage tubing and a drainage receptacle. The drainage tubing can be connected to the urinary catheter through the cutout in the catheter section of the upper tray. Methods of urinary catheterization include use of the urinary catheter-insertion kits.
KIT OF ORTHOPEDIC TOOLS AND BITS
Various medical kits are disclosed. The medical kit can include a plurality of single-use bits and tools adapted to interface with orthopedic implants. The plurality of bits can be sterile and can be contained within individual containers. The individual containers containing the plurality of bits can be nested within at least one nesting container. Each of the individual containers and the at least one nesting container can include a label to identify a bit or medical tool type. Each of the labels can include a space to write in an anatomical location where an implanted medical device was removed.
Composite packaging facilitating an aseptic presentation of medicinal products
A sterile packaging for sterile medicinal products, in particular implants, forms at least one, or in case of a multiple sterile packaging, at least one first sterile barrier and an outer second sterile barrier, separate and independent from the first sterile barrier, and which is accommodated in an outer packaging. The outer packaging is made of a composite material that includes cardboard and at least one coating or film, and is designed and intended to form the second sterile barrier of the sterile packaging.
Surgical system
A surgical system includes an overtube, a sheathing tube, a syringe, a tube, an inner needle, and a storage case that has individual storage parts for individually storing the overtube, the sheathing tube, the syringe, the tube, and the inner needle, respectively. The storage case fixes a first instrument, which is any one of the overtube, the sheathing tube, the syringe, the tube, or the inner needle, to the individual storage part corresponding to the first instrument by using at least one of second instruments which are other instruments stored in the individual storage parts.
Basket for a medical instrument basket and medical instruments
Described herein is a holding basket (100) for containing an inner basket (200) for holding at least one medical item for processing having a top end (102) and a base end (104) comprising: an essentially rectangular base (110) and side walls (120, 122, 124) extending from the base (110), two rims (130, 132) each disposed on a first pair (120, 122) of opposing side walls, two windows 140) each disposed on a second pair opposing side walls (124) configured for manual access for slidable removal of the inner basket (200), wherein the holding basket (100) is configured for stackability or nestability with an adjacent holding basket (100′, 100″).
Medical assembly comprising a medical article and a package containing said article
A medical package containing a medical article, including: a support element comprising a hollow support tube and a support cap, wherein the support element includes a first chamber configured to enclose the medical article and wherein the support cap includes a support structure configured to hold the medical article captive; a stopper configured to be coupled to the hollow support tube in such a way that the support element has a grip part that protrudes from the stopper, the grip part of the support element configured to be held by a hand of a person; a hollow protective cover configured to be coupled to the stopper in such a way as to delimit, in cooperation with the stopper, a second chamber inside which there extends the grip part of the support element, the hollow protective cover configured to be separated from the stopper, wherein when the hollow protective cover is coupled to the stopper, a part of the stopper protrudes from the hollow protective cover, and is configured to form a grip end of the stopper that is configured to be held by a hand of a person, when the hollow protective cover is separated from the stopper, wherein a part of the support element is configured to be engaged by force inside the stopper, and when the hollow protective cover is separated from the stopper, the support element remains coupled to the stopper while the support element is also separable from the stopper when a person holds the grip part of the support element and pulls the support element so as to separate it from the stopper.
