A tray (100) for accommodating a coiled medical device, such as a catheter assembly (700), includes a first compartment (101), a second compartment (102), and a third compartment (103). The catheter assembly (700) and devices associated with a catheterization procedure, such as syringes (701,702) containing sterile water and lubricating jelly and a specimen container (703) can be disposed within the tray. Printed instructions (1001) can be included with the tray (100). When a CSR wrap (1000) is disposed about the tray (100), the printed instructions can be placed atop the CSR wrap (1000) but beneath an outer sterile wrap (1002). The printed instructions (1001) can include a patient portion (1202) that is detachably coupled to a health care services portion (1201) such that it can be taken home with the patient after the procedure.

The first compartment (101) can include a stair-stepped contour (115) such that the syringes are held at different depths to facilitate ease of use. The various devices can be disposed within the tray (100) in accordance with their order of use in the catheterization procedure.

A surgical tray system is disclosed. The system includes a tray for use in an operating room environment. In various embodiments, the tray includes an indentation having a bowl shape. A vacuum sealed bag is fitted over the tray and form fitted to the tray when the air is removed from within the bag. The tray optionally includes an light source for illuminating an area under the tray, a magnification element, and pouches for storing items used during a surgical procedure. The tray is optionally substantially transparent to allow light to pass through the tray. The tray is ideally positioned over a patient bed. It may be mounted via an arm to a bed frame member, a monitor station, or a ceiling fixture.

A sleeve is retained by the distal section and is disposed within the cavity of the distal section. The sleeve defines a lumen adapted to receive the working portion. The sleeve is configured to rotate within the distal section to facilitate rotational installation of the tool relative to a surgical device.

The subject invention provides a surgical instrument support assembly which includes an enclosure defining an opening; a light transmissive pane located at least partially across the opening and defining a support surface; and, a light source located inside the enclosure for generating light to be transmitted through the light transmissive pane. A sterilizable light transmissive surgical instrument support may be also provided to be disposed over at least a portion of the light transmissive pane. Advantageously, with the subject invention, an assembly is provided which includes a sterilized surface for supporting surgical instruments which is backlit. With this arrangement, surgical instruments may be supported and illuminated from beneath to aid a medical practitioner in identifying the surgical instruments.

A sterile enclosure to bring a non-sterile hand-held electronic device such as a smartphone or a tablet into a sterile field comprises a rigid frame, a rigid base and a device holder configured to accept the hand-held device thereon. The use of the device holder to contain the hand-held device prior to engaging with the base and positioning the device therein, allows avoiding contamination of sterile components during use. A sterility indicator is also provided to continuously monitor the sterile enclosure for a possible breach in sterility while inside the sterile field.

A conduit is connected to the dispensing well, to receive the allergen and provide it to the dispensing well. A reservoir is connected to the conduit to receive the allergen and provide it to the conduit. A cap is disposed on the reservoir, with a hole, such that when a finger depresses the cap, the finger covers the hole and the depression creates pressure within the reservoir, which motivates an amount of the allergen to flow out from the reservoir through the conduit and into the dispensing well, to be absorbed by the wettable material, where the allergen is available for delivery to the barbed delivery applicator.
