Surgical instrumentation set
A surgical instrumentation assembly including: a storage tube having a service opening, a sealing member for closing off the service opening, a plurality of surgical instruments for temporary use, and a holder comprising a plurality of attachment elements configured to detachably attach the surgical instruments to the holder. The storage tube contains the holder and the sterile surgical instruments when the sealing member closes off the service opening.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND KIT FOR 3D BODY IMAGING
A system and kit for capturing a 3D image of a body a user includes a plurality of pillar segments being configurable between an assembled configuration and a disassembled configuration. In the assembled configuration, the pillar segments are joined to form one or more upstanding sensing pillars. A plurality of sensors operable to capture image data are distributed along the one or more sensing pillars. The plurality of sensors have fields of view that are overlapping when supported on the sensing pillars. In the disassembled configuration, transportation of the pillar segments is facilitated. The system and kit may be suitable for use at a remote location. Additional functionalities may include a power storage unit, solar charging panels, climate control subsystem, and wireless communication submodule. In operation, the sensing pillars may be enclosed within an enclosure.
SURGICAL SYSTEMS AND TRAYS
According to one example, a medical tray for a surgical procedure is disclosed. The medical tray can optionally comprise: a housing; and one or more tray inserts configured to be received within the housing and having a first major surface and one or more support. The one or more tray inserts are configured to receive a plurality of dental surgical instruments via a plurality of receptacles formed therein. The plurality of receptacles having corresponding openings in the first major surface. The one or more tray inserts configured to be at least one of: removable from the housing and configured with the one or more supports so as to be positionable exterior to and independent of the housing, or the plurality of receptacles are angled such that the dental surgical instruments when received therein are positioned at an acute angle relative to the first major surface.
SURGICAL SYSTEMS AND TRAYS
According to one example, an instrument retaining element for a dental tray for use in a surgical procedure is disclosed. The retaining element can have a first portion defining a plurality of receptacles therein. The plurality of receptacles configured to receive a first shank section of a plurality of surgical instruments. The first portion defines a first part of a channel that communicates with two or more of the plurality of receptacles. The retaining element can have a second portion connected to the first portion and having a U-shape in cross-section. The second portion defines a second part of the channel that communicates with the first part of the channel and the plurality of receptacles. The second part of the channel can be configured to elastically expand to receive and retain a second shank section of the plurality of surgical instruments.
