A curable silicone gel composition including: (A) 100 parts by mass of a branched-chain organosiloxane that has a specific structure; (B) 0.1-50 parts by mass of a diorganopolysiloxane in which both molecular chain terminals are blocked with a diorganohydrogensiloxy group; (C) a platinum-based catalyst; (D) a phosphorous acid triester compound in an amount that is 3-15 molecules per one platinum atom in the (C) component, said phosphorous acid triester compound having a structure in which a chain alkyl group is bonded to an oxygen atom of phosphorous acid; (E) an organic peroxide for which the 10-hour half-life temperature is 120° C. or greater, in an amount that is 5-50 times the amount of the (D) component; and (F) an oxidation inhibitor.
This curable silicone gel composition demonstrates superior high-temperature storability and deep section curability.

Thermoplastic vulcanizates and compositions thereof

Disclosed is a thermoplastic vulcanizate composition with a dispersed phase of a rubber, partially cured in a phenolic resin curing agent, and a continuous thermoplastic phase including at least one thermoplastic polymer, where the composition has one or more of the following properties: (i) an epoxidized soy bean oil is added after the partial curing of the rubber phase; (ii) a combination of an alkyl radical scavenger and an alkyl phosphite is added during the partial curing of the rubber phase; (iii) the thermoplastic phase has ≥10 wt % polypropylene having a heat of fusion >80 J/g, and the composition includes (a) stannous chloride; (b) a non-basic hindered amine light stabilizer; and/or (c) both (a) and (b); and (iv) where (i) to (iii) include carbon black in the composition.

Low odor and volatiles polyolefin compositions and methods of production

Disclosed are compositions comprising at least one polyolefin, a hindered phenol, and a phenyl phosphite; wherein the overall concentration of the hindered phenol and phenyl phosphite is within a range from 10 ppm to 5000 ppm in the polyolefin, and wherein the amount of the hindered phenol is less than the phenyl phosphite. Also disclosed herein are compositions comprising at least one polypropylene, a neutralizer, a hindered phenol, and a phenyl phosphite; wherein the overall concentration of the hindered phenol and phenyl phosphite is within a range from 1000 ppm to 5000 ppm in the polyolefin, and wherein the amount of the hindered phenol is from 200 to 2000 ppm less than the phenyl phosphite.

For the purpose of providing a POM resin composition containing a conductive filler, the conductive POM resin composition suppressing the amount of the curing accelerator to be added, having excellent low thermal decomposition mechanical physical properties, and having no practical problem for injection molding applications, and a resin molded article, provided is a resin composition including a polyacetal resin, polyethylene, carbon black, a reaction product of an oxazoline group-containing polymer represented by formula (1), and a tertiary aromatic phosphine represented by formula (3) and/or a tertiary aromatic phosphine oxide represented by formula (4), wherein a content of the polyacetal resin is 50% by mass or more, and a sum of the content of the tertiary aromatic phosphine and the content of the tertiary aromatic phosphine oxide is 0.2% by mass or more and less than 0.5% by mass.

A tackifier composition comprising at least one thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin and an antioxidant composition is provided; wherein a portion of the volatile organic compounds in the thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin has been removed; wherein the antioxidant composition comprises at least one primary antioxidant and at least one secondary antioxidant; and wherein the levels of individual volatile organic compound monitored in the tackifier composition are less than about 0.5 ppm as measured by GC/MS headspace analysis. Processes for producing the tackifier composition are also provided as well as adhesives comprising the tackifier compositions.
