A resin composition containing: (A) a modified polyphenylene ether having a main chain modified at a terminal end with a functional group having a carbon-carbon double bond; (B) a crosslinking agent; (C) a crosslinking aid; and (D) an organic peroxide. The crosslinking aid (C) is a compound having a specific structure.

A resin composition includes: (A) a polyphenylene ether resin of Formula (1) and (B) a compound of Formula (3), and/or a compound of Formula (4), and/or a compound of Formula (5). An article is made from the resin composition. The article made from the resin composition may include a prepreg, a resin film, a laminate or a printed circuit board, and one or more properties including resin filling void, glass transition temperature, Z-axis ratio of thermal expansion, dielectric constant, dissipation factor, and warpage may be improved.

RESIN COMPOSITION AND USES OF THE SAME
A resin composition and uses of the same are provided. The resin composition includes the following components: (A) a cross-linking agent of the following formula (I):
##STR00001## (B) a polyphenylene ether resin, wherein the terminal ends of the polyphenylene ether resin are independently modified by a substituent with a carbon-carbon double bond; and (C) a catalyst, wherein, X in formula (I) is a C.sub.1 to C.sub.10 straight or branched alkylene, and the weight ratio of the polyphenylene ether resin (B) to the cross-linking agent (A) ranges from 0.5 to 5.
Prepolymerized resin, preparation method thereof, resin composition comprising the same, and article made therefrom
A prepolymerized resin prepared by subjecting a composition to a pre-reaction in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor. The composition at least includes bis(vinylphenyl)ethane and polybutadiene. The polybutadiene has a 1,2-vinyl content of 85% or above and a number average molecular weight of less than 3000, wherein the pre-reaction has a conversion rate of between 30% and 90%. During the pre-reaction, components in the composition are partially crosslinked to leave residual vinyl groups. The composition further includes vinyl-containing polyphenylene ether and has a number average molecular weight of between 4,000 and 12,000.
Prepolymerized resin, preparation method thereof, resin composition comprising the same, and article made therefrom
A prepolymerized resin prepared by subjecting a composition to a pre-reaction in the presence of a polymerization inhibitor. The composition at least includes bis(vinylphenyl)ethane and polybutadiene. The polybutadiene has a 1,2-vinyl content of 85% or above and a number average molecular weight of less than 3000, wherein the pre-reaction has a conversion rate of between 30% and 90%. During the pre-reaction, components in the composition are partially crosslinked to leave residual vinyl groups. The composition further includes vinyl-containing polyphenylene ether and has a number average molecular weight of between 4,000 and 12,000.

A filler includes a first precursor and a second precursor; the first precursor is a hollow filler with a surface covered by a first silane coupling agent; the second precursor is a non-hollow filler with a surface covered by a second silane coupling agent; the first precursor and the second precursor are connected by a covalent bond formed by a chemical reaction between the first silane coupling agent and the second silane coupling agent. Also included are a preparation method of the filler and a resin composition containing the filler. A prepreg, a resin film, a laminate, or a printed circuit board made from the resin composition has excellent thermal resistance after moisture absorption, low Df variation rate under moisture and heat, low water absorption rate, high copper foil peeling strength, the prepreg having a smooth appearance and even color, and absence of branch-like pattern on laminate.

The present invention provides an electrode material and production method thereof. The electrode material comprises: an electrode active material; and an elastic layer coated on the electrode active material, wherein the elastic layer comprises the elements of C, H, O, N, S and the electrode material has the characteristic peaks at mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) 261±0.5, (m/z) 155±0.5, (m/z) 80±0.5, (m/z) 32±0.5, and (m/z) 14±0.5 using TOF-SIMS with the primary ion of Bi.sup.1+.
Halogen-free resin composition and uses thereof
Disclosed are a halogen-free resin composition, and a prepreg and a laminate prepared by using the same. The halogen-free resin composition comprises the following components according to organic solid matters by weight parts: (A) 40-80 parts by weight of allyl modified benzoxazine resin; (B) 10-20 parts by weight of hydrocarbon resin; (C) 10-40 parts by weight of allyl modified polyphenylene oxide resin; (D) 0.01-3 parts by weight of initiating agent; (E) 10-100 parts by weight of filler; and (F) 0-80 parts by weight of phosphoric flame retardant. The prepreg and the laminate prepared by using the halogen-free resin composition have lower dielectric constant and lower dielectric loss tangent value, higher peeling strength, higher glass transition temperature, excellent heat resistance and good flame retardant effect.
