USE OF ENCAPSULATED NATURAL COLORS
Use of an encapsulated natural color for coloring a household, industrial or institutional (HI&I) product wherein the encapsulated natural color is stable in water to simulated solar irradiation at 765 Watt in accordance with International Commission on Illumination 85 (1989, Table 4, 3 mm window glass) reference sun for a period of between 8 hours and 16 hours.
Nano dye molecule, color filter, and display panel
The present disclosure provides a nano dye molecule, a color filter, and a display panel. The nano dye molecule comprises a gold nanocluster and a plurality of dye groups which are connected to the gold nanocluster by gold-sulfur bonds and cover an outer periphery of the gold nanocluster.
Process for producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles
The present invention provides a method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles, the method including: dispersing seed particles formed from a thermosetting resin in a dispersion medium; and polymerizing a monomer for thermosetting resin synthesis in the thus obtained dispersion in the presence of a dye and an acid catalyst. By the method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles according to the present invention, dye-containing thermosetting resin particles whose particle size variation coefficient is small at, for example, 8% or less, can be produced without performing a post-treatment such as centrifugation. Therefore, when immunological observation is performed by a fluorescent labeling method using fluorescent dye-containing resin particles produced by the method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles according to the present invention, a high bright spot detection accuracy can be attained.
ANTIMICROBIAL AZO COMPOUNDS AND USES THEREOF
Antimicrobial azo compounds include azobenzene monomers having a phenyl ring comprising a hydroxyl substituent group. The azobenzene monomers can be reacted with a polymeric material to form an antimicrobial coating that prevents growth of persistent biofilms. In some implementations, the azobenzene monomers can be used to coat the surface of a dental resin-based composite to prevent the formation secondary caries. In some implementations, the azobenzene coating can be used to disperse microbial biofilms through a photofluidization process (rapid photoisomerization) in addition to biochemically preventing formation of the microbial biofilm.
COSMETIC PRODUCT USING PHOTOCHROMIC POWDER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a cosmetic product using photochromic powder and a method of manufacturing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a cosmetic product using photochromic powder and a method of manufacturing the same, in which various formulations of cosmetic products used for the skin, lips, nails, and hair are manufactured using a photochromic powder pigment manufactured using ingredients that are harmless to the human body so that the color thereof is changed when the cosmetic products are exposed to ultraviolet light, thereby making it possible to satisfy user demand both for fun and for aesthetic improvement and to help a user create a unique style.
COATED COLORANT, COLORING COMPOSITION, AND COATED COLORANT MANUFACTURING METHOD
A purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a coated colorant and a coloring composition that have superior dispersion stability, high compatibility with binder resins, low viscosity after being made into an ink, good preservation stability, and a good film gloss value. Provided is a coated colorant in which a surface of a colorant is coated with a resin (P), the resin (P) contains a colorant adsorption group-containing monomer unit, a maleic acid (anhydride) unit, and a (meth)aryl monomer unit, and the colorant adsorption group-containing monomer unit contains at least one of an α-olefin unit and a ring-containing monomer unit.
Irreversible thermochromic molded article for prevention of overheating and method for preparing same
Provided are an irreversibly discoloring pigment for preventing overheating, a thermochromic molded article including the same, and a method of preparing the same, and more particularly, a discoloring pigment which becomes discolored when overheated, and then maintains the discoloration even after being cooled to room temperature, a thermochromic molded article including the discoloring pigment, and methods of preparing the discoloring pigment and the thermochromic molded article.
Storage stable liquid fugitive colored fire-retardant concentrates
This disclosure relates to fugitive color systems and storage-stable fugitive colored liquid long-term fire retardant compositions comprising a fugitive color system. The fugitive color system comprises a fugitive color pigment. In particular, disclosed herein is the identification of fugitive color pigments exhibiting hydrophilic or diminished hydrophobic tendencies. And, in certain aspects, the fugitive color pigment is fluorescent.
Surface-modified pigment particles for electrophoretic display and electrophoretic display device
The invention provides pigment particles and an organic modification layer formed on a surface of the pigment particles; the organic modification layer is a surfactant layer or a polymer material layer formed on the surface of the pigment particles; an organic matter content over the specific surface area W.sub.surf of the pigment particles is in a range of 0.1-2% g/m.sup.2. The surface-modified pigment particles provided by the invention have good stability, and the electrophoretic display prepared by using the surface-modified pigment particles of the invention has good optical performance.
GREEN COLORED RESIN COMPOSITION
An object of the present invention is to provide a colored resin composition comprising a squarylium dye excellent in heat resistance. The colored resin composition according to the present invention is a green colored resin composition comprising a colorant, a resin and a solvent. The colorant contains a squarylium dye, and the content percentage of the resin is 70 mass % or more based on an amount obtained by subtracting the content of the colorant and the solvent from the total amount of the green colored resin composition.
