Control device, control method, and surgical system
To provide a control device, control method, and surgical system that can further improve safety. Provided is the control device including: a driving control unit (146) configured to control driving of an arm unit (112) that supports a medical instrument (111); a region setting unit (142) configured to set an intrusion appropriateness region for which appropriateness of intrusion of the medical instrument or the arm unit is determined in a space on a basis of a peripheral image showing a peripheral state of the medical instrument or the arm unit; an intrusion determination unit (144) configured to determine presence/absence of intrusion of the medical instrument or the arm unit into the intrusion appropriateness region when the driving control unit controls driving of the arm unit in accordance with a non-contact operation by a user with respect to the arm unit; and an action instruction unit (145) configured to cause an intrusion hindering action for hindering intrusion of the medical instrument or the arm unit into the intrusion appropriateness region to be executed in accordance with a determination result of the intrusion determination unit.
Skin care methods, systems, and devices
Methods, systems, and devices for skin care are provided. Some embodiments may include a device or system for skin care that may include a skin tool head portion, a skin tool head support that may be coupled with the skin tool head portion, and/or a portable microscope connector that may be configured to couple a portable microscope with the skin tool head support. Some embodiments include a device for skin care that may include a spacer configured to couple with a portable microscope. The spacer includes at least one aperture configured to facilitate the use of a skin tool. Some embodiments include a spacer coupled with a compressible structure configured to preclude a skin tool from contacting a portion of skin when in an uncompressed state and to allow the skin tool to contact the portion of skin when in a compressed state.

MOUNTABLE DENTAL/SURGICAL MICROSCOPE
A mountable dental/surgical microscope is an apparatus that attaches to a medical overhead light. The apparatus includes an overhead attachment mechanism, a positioning arm, a stereoscopic ocular, and a light-modifying scope. The overhead attachment mechanism attaches the apparatus to the medical overhead light. The positioning arm allows a user to reposition the apparatus in order to better view an object through the apparatus. The light-modifying scope condenses, collimates, focuses, and magnifies the light traversing through the apparatus, which allows the user to better view the object through the apparatus. The stereoscopic ocular allows the user to comfortably view the object by redirecting an optical image of the object to a desirable position offset from the light-modifying scope.

SURGERY VISUALIZATION THEATRE
A surgery visualization theatre comprising: an augmented/extended reality (AXR) headset; a digital viewport mounted on a cobotic arm; a monitor mounted on a monitor cobotic arm; a camera subsystem mounted on a camera cobotic arm; and a frame with cobotic arms featuring intelligence and command and control for the system and visualization methodologies, where the digital viewport cobotic arm, the monitor cobotic arm, and the camera cobotic arm are mounted on the frame and the AXR headset is connected thereto.
BIO SHIELD FOR DENTAL CHAIR
A shield device and related methods of use for conducting a patient procedure, such as a dental procedure, when the patient is positioned in or on a chair or table. The shield device includes a support arm and a shield. The shield is mounted to the support arm and movable between an active position vertically above a portion of the patient when the patient is lying in the chair or table, and an inactive position removed from patient. The shield has a transparent portion through which a user can view the patient when the shield is in the active position. The shield includes a ventilation system to remove air from a space defined between the patient and the shield when the shield is in the active position.

Medical stereoscopic observation device, medical stereoscopic observation method, and program
To reduce more load related to the correction of deformation of an observation image that is caused by an error between a plurality of imaging sections. A medical stereoscopic observation device includes: an acquisition section configured to acquire, from an imaging unit including a first imaging section configured to capture a left-eye image and a second imaging section configured to capture a right-eye image, correction data for correcting an error related to capturing of an image between the first imaging section and the second imaging section, the imaging unit being rotatably held by a support section; and a correction section configured to correct a difference of parallax between the left-eye image and the right-eye image on a basis of the correction data, using a position corresponding to a rotation axis of the imaging unit as a reference position.
OPTICAL OBSERVATION INSTRUMENT
An optical observation instrument according to the invention, in particular a surgical microscope or exoscope, comprises an optics unit with an objective arrangement and at least one electronic image recorder, wherein the optics unit has a first stereo channel with a first beam path and a second stereo channel with a second beam path for recording a stereo image of an object field with the at least one electronic image recorder and wherein the first and the second beam path extend through the objective arrangement. Further, the observation instrument comprises a retaining apparatus which comprises a retaining bracket, which engages over the optics unit, wherein the retaining bracket comprises an operating device with a number of operating elements for controlling a retaining arm, to which the retaining apparatus is connectable.
