Substrate-free adhesive tape
A substrate-free adhesive tape that is excellent in adhesive physical properties and is suitable for a continuous process is provided. The substrate-free adhesive tape includes a release film, and an adhesive layer provided on one surface of the release film and the adhesive layer containing a cured product of an adhesive composition, wherein when the release film is fixed on the outer surface of a semicircular tip part of a jig, the semicircular tip part having a radius of 22.5 mm, a breaking distance of the adhesive layer is 110 mm or less when the adhesive layer is stretched at a rate of 20 m/min from a semicircular center of the semicircular tip part toward an outermost direction of the semicircular tip part.
METHOD FOR CURING CURABLE COMPOSITIONS
The invention relates to a process for the curing of latently reactive, heat-curable compositions which do not harden at room temperature. The composition includes a polymer obtainable via reaction of certain compounds having two aldehyde groups with polyacrylate compounds having two or more acrylate groups, and also a compound which bears at least two thiol groups.
ONE-SIDE-PROTECTED POLARIZING FILM, PRESSURE-SENSITIVE-ADHESIVE-LAYER-ATTACHED POLARIZING FILM, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY PRODUCING SAME
The present invention pertains to a one-side-protected polarizing film having a protective film or films on only one surface of a polarizer, wherein: the polarizer contains a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, and is designed to have a single-body transmittance T and a polarization degree P representing optical properties satisfying the condition of the following formula: P>−(10.sup.0.99T−42.4−1)×100 (provided that T<42.3) or P≧99.9 (provided that T≧42.3), and the polarizer and a transparent resin layer have a thickness X (μm) and a thickness Y (μm), respectively, satisfying X≦12, Y≦15, and 0.15≦(Y/X)≦3. Even when the thin-type polarizer has prescribed optical properties, this one-side-protected polarizing film is capable of suppressing the occurrence of through cracks, nano-slit-induced defects and curling.
PHOTOCROSSLINKABLE TRANSPARENT ADHESIVE MATERIAL, TRANSPARENT ADHESIVE MATERIAL LAYERED BODY, AND LAYERED BODY FOR CONSTITUTING OPTICAL DEVICE
Provided is a novel transparent adhesive material having low relative permittivity as well as excellent adhesive characteristics, whereby an olefinic polymer resin layer and an acrylic polymer adhesive layer can be suitably integrated. Suggested is a transparent adhesive material provided with an outermost surface layer containing an acrylic polymer (B) and a photocrosslinking initiator, and an intermediate layer containing an olefinic polymer (A), a crosslinking agent, and a photocrosslinking initiator, in which the intermediate layer contains a (meth)acrylate monomer as the crosslinking agent.

Provided is a pressure sensitive adhesive article comprising (a) a substrate (Sa) (b) in contact with the substrate (Sa), a layer (Lb) of a pressure sensitive composition (Cb) that comprises one or more acrylic polymer (POLb) having Tg of 20° C. or lower, and (c) in contact with the layer (Lb), a layer (Lc) that comprises, (i) one or more acrylic polymer (POLc) having Tg of 20° C. or lower, and (ii) one or more olefin copolymer. Also provided are a method of making the pressure sensitive adhesive article and a bonded article made by using the pressure sensitive adhesive article.
SEMICONDUCTOR PROCESSING SHEET
The semiconductor processing sheet of the present invention is a semiconductor processing sheet including a base material and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer provided on one surface of the base material, wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive layer contains an acrylic polymer (A) having a molecular weight distribution of 3.0 or less and an acrylic polymer (B) having a molecular weight distribution of more than 3.0; and a gel fraction of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is 50 to 70%, and a number average molecular weight of a sol content thereof is 60,000 or more.
Two part sizing composition for coating glass fibres and composite reinforced with such glass fibres
The present invention concerns a two-part sizing composition comprising: (A) A precursor comprising: (a) An aminosilane (e.g. A1100) and (b) a polymer or copolymer containing carboxylic acid and/or anhydride, both having a functionality, F≧3, and (B) A binder comprising a multi-functional epoxy resin of functionality, F≧3. Glass fibres sized with the reaction product of the above composition yield a higher resistance to hydrolysis of polymeric matrix composite materials reinforced with such fibres. The sizing composition of the present invention is particularly advantageous for use with polyester resins, such as PET.
CURABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
Compositions comprising a copolymer, an inorganic filler, and a moisture cure catalyst are described herein. In some instances, the copolymer can be derived from a (meth)acrylate, a carboxylic acid anhydride, and an aminosilane, wherein the aminosilane can be pendant from the copolymer backbone. In other instances, the copolymer can be derived from a (meth)acrylate and an organosilane in the absence of a chain transfer agent at a temperature of at least 150° C. Methods of making and using the compositions are further described. In some examples, the compositions are adhesive compositions and can be used in adhering two substrates, such as in floor covering.

ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, ADHESIVE LAYER, SHEET AND TAPE
An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive capable of suppressing plasticizer transfer while maintaining high adhesive force. An adhesive composition of the present invention includes an acrylic polymer (A) and a crosslinking agent (B). The acrylic polymer (A) has units derived from a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester (a1), a (meth)acrylamide monomer (a2), and a carboxyl group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer (a3). The weight-average molecular weight of the acrylic polymer (A) is 1,500,000 or less, and the content of a tackifying resin is less than 10 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the acrylic polymer (A).
