PSA-TYPE LIQUID CRYSTAL COMPOSITION AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING SAME
A PSA-type liquid crystal composition includes a host liquid crystal A and a polymerizable component B, where the host liquid crystal A includes one or more liquid crystal compounds, and the polymerizable component B includes at least one compound selected from compounds of general formula I-1, general formula I-2 and general formula I-3. A liquid crystal display device includes the PSA-type liquid crystal composition above. The PSA-type liquid crystal composition has better intersolubility, cannot be crystallized at a low-temperature environment, can form a relatively stable pretilt angle after the polymerization of the polymerizable component, avoids the image sticking, and inhibits the occurrence of a display defect, such as Zara Particle, during the polymerization.

Liquid crystal composition and liquid crystal display device
Provided are a liquid crystal composition satisfying at least one of characteristics such as high maximum temperature, low minimum temperature, small viscosity, suitable optical anisotropy, large negative dielectric anisotropy, large specific resistance, high stability to ultraviolet light and high stability to heat, or has a suitable balance regarding at least two of the characteristics; and an AM device having characteristics such as a short response time, a large voltage holding ratio, low threshold voltage, a large contrast ratio and a long service life. The liquid crystal composition may contain a specific compound having large negative dielectric anisotropy as a first component, a specific compound having high maximum temperature as a second component, a specific compound having negative dielectric anisotropy as a third component, or a specific compound having a polymerizable group as an additive component.

The present invention provides the following: a photo alignment method-use liquid crystal aligning agent used to obtain a photo alignment method-use liquid crystal alignment film that does not cause bright spots even when negative liquid crystals are used, and that is capable of achieving good after-image characteristics; a liquid crystal alignment film obtained from the liquid crystal aligning agent; and a liquid crystal display element provided with the liquid crystal aligning agent. Provided is the liquid crystal aligning agent which contains a polyimide or polyimide precursor obtained from a reaction between: a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride represented by formula (1) (in the formula, X.sup.1 is as set forth in the present specification) or a derivative thereof; and a diamine component that contains a diamine represented by formula (2) (in the formula, R.sup.1, Z.sup.1 and n are as set forth in the present specification).

The polymerizable compound disclosed in the present invention has a plurality of ring systems, and the entire molecular structure thereof is curved and twisted. The present invention further discloses a liquid crystal medium comprising the polymerizable compound, the polymerizable compound provided by the present invention has an appropriate polymerization rate in the liquid crystal medium, and the liquid crystal medium can be well applied to a PS-(polymer stabilized)- or PSA-(polymer stabilized alignment)-type liquid crystal display device. Further disclosed is a liquid crystal display device prepared from the liquid crystal medium.

The present invention relates to a mixture comprising a not fully aromatic polymerisabe compound and a polymerisable photoinitiator, to liquid-crystal (LC) media comprising them, and to the use of the polymerisable compounds and LC media for optical, electro-optical and electronic purposes, in particular in LC displays, especially in LC displays of the polymer sustained alignment type.

The present disclosure provides a resin composition, a cured photoresist and a display panel. The resin composition includes an initiator, at least one multifunctional monomer, a resin, a solvent, and an agent; wherein the multifunctional monomer comprises a monomer compound with the secondary amine group. Through the above-mentioned method, the present disclosure can realize the low-temperature curing of a photoresist, and can further reduce the phenomenon of high-temperature yellowing of the organic flat layer material during the subsequent curing process, and the high-temperature deformation of the substrate can be avoided in the application of flexible displays.

Temperature-controlled dimming film with a function of shielding near-infrared light and preparation method thereof
The present invention relates to a temperature-controlled dimming film with a function of shielding near-infrared light, which comprises a polymer network skeleton and liquid crystal molecules, wherein the polymer network skeleton consists of a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal network structure and a polymer-stabilized liquid crystal network structure and comprises a polymer matrix with pores inside which polymer networks are vertically aligned; and the liquid crystal molecules are dispersed in the polymer network skeleton and have smectic (SmA)-cholesteric (N*) phase transition. Between the skeleton and the liquid crystal molecules, nanoparticles, having absorption at 800-3000 nm, are dispersed. In the invention, a stepwise polymerization method is utilized to construct a PD&SLC network structure between two substrates, which greatly improve the bonding strength between the two substrates and the heat insulation performance of the temperature-controlled liquid crystal dimming film.
