LIVING-BODY INFORMATION MEASURING DEVICE
A living-body information measuring device includes plural light-emitting elements, a light-receiving element that is disposed at a position at different distances from the light-emitting elements and that receives reflected light beams that are reflected from a living body when the light-emitting elements emit light beams toward the living body, a control unit that controls the light-emitting elements so that the light-emitting elements successively emit the light beams, and a measurement unit that measures living-body information at plural depths in the living body by using the reflected light beams that are successively received by the light-receiving element.
MAGNETICALLY HELD DIAPER MONITOR
A magnetically held diaper monitor comprises a power supply part and a control part. The power supply part comprises a lower shell, and a battery and a power circuit board embedded in the lower shell. The power circuit board is provided with a plurality of lower magnetic electrodes and two lower magnetic terminals. The control part comprises an upper shell and a control circuit board embedded in the upper shell. The control circuit board is provided with upper magnetic electrodes which are in one-to-one correspondence to the lower magnetic electrodes, and upper magnetic terminals which correspond to the lower magnetic terminals. A diaper sensor is clamped between the power supply part and the control part which are combined into a whole by attraction by means of a magnetic force and is connected to the control part via the magnetic electrodes. The control part obtains a power supply via the magnetic terminals.
Vital signs monitor with a removable and dischargable battery
A vital signs monitor includes an equipment housing defining an equipment compartment, a circuit assembly and a battery residing inside the equipment compartment, an electrical connector forming a connection between the battery assembly and the circuit assembly, and a battery discharge circuit. A retainer joined to the equipment housing retains the battery assembly in the housing. The retainer is separable from the housing so that its separation causes a break in the electrical connection and activates the discharge circuit.
Hands-free interface
A wearable device and external reader is provided for herein. In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the wearable device or the reader is configured to receive a level of radiant energy, detect a change in the received level of radiant energy, determine that the detected change in the received level of radiant energy is indicative of a predetermined pattern of received radiant energy, and responsively operate (or cause to be operated via the external reader) one or more external devices.
In vivo information acquiring apparatus
A capsule endoscope includes, inside a capsule casing, an information acquiring section that acquires information on an inside of a body of a subject, a battery that supplies power, a detection section that, upon detection of introduction to the inside of the body of the subject, outputs a detection signal, a signal receiving section that receives a control signal from an outside and outputs an internal signal, and a control section that controls power supply from the battery to the information acquiring section according to the internal signal and the detection signal.
Device for controlling a surgical handpiece
A control device for controlling a surgical handpiece is suitable for controlling the surgical handpiece according to control parameters. The control device comprises local control means present on the control device, wireless communication means suitable for communicating with remote control means by a wireless communication link. The local control means and the wireless communication means is suitable for receiving instructions to adjust each control parameter. Selector means is provided for selecting either the local control means or the wireless communication means for adjusting each control parameter.
Terminal device and telemetry system
A terminal device in which a transmitter transmits biological information and battery state information to a biological information display device, includes a shutdown detector that detects a shutdown state of a battery, and a transmission controller that, when the shutdown detector detects the battery shutdown state, causes the transmitter to transmit the battery state information indicative of shutdown.
MEDICAL COMMUNICATION HUB AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A patient communication system having a medical sensing device operable to collect medical data, a network communication module operable to transmit the medical data onto a data network, a controller operable route the first medical sensing data to the network communication module, and a power source operable to provide power to the first medical sensing device, the controller, and the network communication module.
