TRIAMINE SOLIDIFICATION USING DIACIDS
Stable, solid triamine compositions are disclosed. The pressed, cast, extruded or other solid compositions are suitable for antimicrobial, sanitizing and disinfectant applications. Ready-to-use solutions are obtained by dissolving the solid triamine compositions with water and the methods of use thereof are particularly suitable for cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, rinsing and/or lubricating. Beneficially, the solid triamine compositions are at least partially neutralized, allowing activity of 90% and greater of the biocidal triamine, and provide at least substantially similar or superior performance and micro efficacy to liquid formulations.
Belt Lubricant Concentrate
The present invention relates to a belt lubricant concentrate comprising 15% by weight to 30% by weight of at least one monocarboxylic acid, 10% by weight to 25% by weight of at least one N-alkyl-1,3-propanediamine, 5% by weight to 15% by weight of at least one nonionic surfactant and water up to 100% by weight.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition containing a mineral oil (A) containing 30% by mass or more of a bright stock (A1) on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, wherein the lubricating oil composition further contains a synthetic oil (B) and a phosphoric acid ester (C), the content of the synthetic oil (B) is less than 70% by mass on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, the content of the phosphoric acid ester (C) as expressed in terms of a phosphorus atom is 0.050 to 0.200% by mass on the basis of the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, and a viscosity index is 150 or more, thereby providing a lubricating oil composition having low temperature dependence and favorable lubricating characteristics even in the case of using the mineral oil containing a bright stock.
Lubricating composition and method of lubricating driveline device
The present invention relates to a lubricating composition containing: an oil of lubricating viscosity, a non-borated dispersant, a detergent, and an antiwear package comprising (a) a derivative of a hydroxycarboxylic acid, (b) an amine salt of a phosphoric acid ester, and (c) a phosphite having at least one hydrocarbyl group with 4 or more carbon atoms. The invention further provides for a method of lubricating a driveline device application by employing a lubricating composition containing the antiwear package.
Low transition temperature mixtures or deep eutectic solvents and processes for preparation thereof
A low transition temperature mixture (LTTM) or deep eutectic solvent (DES) useful as a lubricating oil base stock and lubricating oil including a eutectic mixture of at least a first component and at least a second component. The at least first component comprises a hydrogen bond acceptor and the at least second component comprises a hydrogen bond donor. The eutectic mixture includes an equilibrium phase between the at least first component and the at least second component. The equilibrium phase does not exhibit physical characteristics of the at least first component in an unmixed state and the at least second component in an unmixed state. The at least first component and the at least second component form an intermolecular interaction between each other sufficient to prevent crystallization of the at least first component and the at least second component in the eutectic mixture. The eutectic mixture is a liquid at 20 C.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
A lubricant composition is provided which comprises a base oil and hydroxytyrosol and/or esters thereof. Also provided is a lubricant composition in which the esters have a solubility in the base oil at 25 C. of at least 0.1 g/l. Further provided is a lubricant composition in which the esters are at least partly carboxylic acid esters comprising esters of hydroxytyrosol and C.sub.2-10 carboxylic acids.
Water-based lubricating coating agent for metal material, surface-treated metal material, and method for forming lubricating coating for metal material
Provided is a water-based lubricating coating agent for a metal material, capable of carrying out a chemical conversion treatment and a lubrication treatment at the same time, which makes it possible to achieve excellent lubricity even in plastic working, press molding, and the like, and at the same time, operability (e.g., process shortening, sludge reduction). The water-based lubricating coating agent having pH of 2.0 to 6.5 for a metal material is obtained by blending: at least one lubricating component other than black-based solid lubricants; and at least one chemical conversion component selected from the group consisting of a phosphoric acid compound, an oxalic acid compound, a molybdic acid compound, a zirconium compound, and a titanium compound, the concentration of the lubricating component is 5 mass % or more in mass ratio to the total solid content mass in the lubricating coating agent, and the concentration of the chemical conversion component is 0.3 to 8 mass % when the total mass of the lubricating coating agent is regarded as 100 mass %.
Lubricating composition containing an antiwear agent
The invention provides a lubricating composition containing an antiwear agent and an oil of lubricating viscosity. The invention further relates to the use of the lubricating composition in an internal combustion engine, or a driveline device.
