Method for manufacturing oil gel capsules and method for manufacturing contact part for vehicle, including oil gel capsules
An oil gel capsule includes an oil gel including an oil and a gelator, and at least one surfactant bonded to the oil gel. A contact part for a vehicle includes an overlay layer formed on a surface of the contact part, the overlay layer comprising oil gel capsules, wherein the oil gel capsules including an oil gel including an oil and a gelator, and at least one surfactant bonded to the oil gel.
Method for manufacturing oil gel capsules and method for manufacturing contact part for vehicle, including oil gel capsules
The present disclosure relates to manufacturing oil gel capsules and adding the same to an overlay layer of a contact part for a vehicle. The present disclosure may provide a method for manufacturing oil gel capsules and a method for manufacturing a contact part for a vehicle, including the oil gel capsules. The oil gels in the oil gel capsules manufactured by the present disclosure may respond to the temperature environment of a contact part for a vehicle, and an aggregation phenomenon of gelators or an aggregation phenomenon of surfactants may not occur even after an oil is released. Therefore, as oil gel capsules are added to an overlay layer, the present disclosure may improve low friction characteristics and seizure resistance characteristics of a contact part for a vehicle without any side effects caused by the above-described aggregation phenomenon.
Lubricating grease of polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite
The invention discloses a lubricating grease with thixotropy and a preparation method thereof. The lubricating grease comprises a polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite thickener, colloidally dispersed calcium carbonate solid particles in the form of calcite, a calcium borate or calcium borate composite, and a calcium soap of fatty acid having 12 to 24 carbon atoms. The above components are uniformly dispersed in an oil phase medium. The content of high base number calcium sulfonate in the lubricating grease is less than 22 wt %, and the lubricating grease has a worked cone penetration of 295 or less.
LUBRICATING OILS AND GREASES
A lubricating oil composition comprises an amide and at least one additive. A lubricating grease composition comprises a liquid amide, a thickener comprising a metal soap, and at least one additive. The amide in each composition is the reaction product of a secondary, branched amine and a carboxylic acid. The carboxylic acid may be a monocarboxylic acid or a dicarboxylic acid, including dimer acid. The amide is hydrolytically stable, and may be used to increase the hydrolytic stability of the lubricant oil or grease composition. Alternatively, the amide may be used to increase the additive solubility or detergency of the lubricant oil or grease composition.

CONVEYOR LUBRICANTS INCLUDING EMULSION OF A LIPOPHILIC COMPOUND AND AN EMULSIFIER AND/OR AN ANIONIC SURFACTANT AND METHODS EMPLOYING THEM
The present invention relates to conveyor lubricant compositions including an emulsion of a lipophilic compound and also including an emulsifier and/or an anionic surfactant. The present invention also relates to methods employing such lubricant compositions. In an embodiment, the method includes applying the present lubricant composition to a conveyor with a non-energized nozzle.
Plunger lubricant for die casting and method of applying the same
A plunger lubricant for die casting includes a component (a), a component (b), a component (c), and water. The component (a) is one or two or more compounds selected from among mineral oils, synthetic hydrocarbons, and fatty acid esters. The component (b) is one or two or more compounds selected from among alkali metal salts of higher fatty acids or alkali metal salts of aliphatic hydroxy acids. The component (c) is an alkali metal salt of an oxoacid or polyoxoacid that is able to be dehydrated and condensed.
Process for the cell-free enzymatic production of 10-hydroxystearic acid (10-HSA) from bio-based oils for lubricant formulation
The present invention relates to an enzymatic process for the modification of free fatty acids (FFAs) derived from renewable feedstocks of bio-based oils. Specifically, the invention describes the hydrolysis of any bio-based oil, such as high oleic sunflower oil (HOSO), to FFAs, containing high amounts of oleic acid (OA), which is further hydrated to 10-hydroxystearic acid (10-HSA).
