20230295540 · 2023-09-21 ·

This disclosure is related to the use of precipitated calcium carbonate as a flow aid in forming free-flowing detergent granules. A solid detergent composition including a plurality of detergent granules is provided. Each of the detergent granule includes: a) a base particle including one or more surfactants; and b) a coating layer over the base particle, while such coating layer includes precipitated calcium carbonate. The solid detergent composition is characterized by a surfactant content ranging from 5% to 80% and a precipitated calcium carbonate content ranging from 0.1% to 10%, by total weight of such solid detergent composition.

Liquid hand dishwashing cleaning composition with an alkyl alxoxy sulfate having a C13/C12 ratio of 60/40 to 80/20

The need for a liquid hand-dishwashing composition which provides further improved sudsing volume and longevity when washing dishware using diluted liquid hand dishwashing compositions, especially in the presence of greasy soil and particulate soil, while still providing the desired cleaning, is met when the composition is formulated with a surfactant system comprising a specific level of alkyl sulfate surfactant and a co-surfactant, when the alkyl chain of the alkyl sulfate anionic surfactant has a mol fraction of C12 and C13 chains of at least about 50%, and the C13/C12 mol ratio of the alkyl chain is at least about 57/43.

Anionic Surfactants And Washing And Cleaning Agents Containing Same

An anionic surfactant of general formula (I) or general formula (II) or mixtures thereof, in which R represents hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl, alkenyl, alkylaryl or alkenylaryl group having 5 to 25 C atoms, n represents a number from 1 to 21 and m represents a number from 0 to 20, the sum of n and m being less than 22, and X+ represents a charge-balancing cation. The invention also relates to a mixture of the anionic surfactant of general formula (I) and the anionic surfactant of general formula (II), obainable by reacting a mixture of 3-hydroxymethylcyclopentanol monoalcoholates having secondary and primary alcoholate functions with an electrophilic alkyl, alkenyl, alkylaryl, or alkenylaryl derivative and the subsequent sulfation with a sulfating agent and optionally neutralization. The invention further relates to a method for producing the surfactant and to the use of the surfactant.

Cleaning composition

A composition for cleaning membranes used in food processing comprising an amine oxide and an alkyl sulfate, the composition maintaining good cleaning performance whilst leaving a low residue of surfactant on the membrane that is cleaned using the composition. A method of use of the composition is also presented.

Solidifying liquid amine oxide, betaine, and/or sultaine surfactants with a carrier

The invention relates to solidification of liquid amine oxide, betaine, and/or sultaine surfactants with a carrier to form a solidified surfactant composition. In particular, the invention relates to solidification of liquid surfactants utilizing drying device(s), wherein the feed composition contains at least one liquid surfactant and a carrier to form a solidified surfactant composition. The solidified surfactant compositions can be useful in various cleaning compositions.
