METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INDICATING CONTINENCE STATE OF A PATIENT ON A BED
A patient support apparatus includes a frame and a mattress supported by the frame and arranged to support a patient thereon. A sensor is included to detect moisture on the patient and/or the patient support apparatus. The sensor produces signals indicative of the presence of moisture on the patient support apparatus. One or more alerts are output in response to the signals provided by the sensor to notify a caregiver of the presence of moisture on the patient support apparatus.
Extended reality visualization of optical tool tracking volume for computer assisted navigation in surgery
A camera tracking system is disclosed that is configured to obtain a model defining a tracking volume of a set of tracking cameras relative to pose of the set of tracking cameras, and receive tracking information from the set of tracking cameras indicating pose of an extended reality (XR) headset relative to the set of tracking cameras. The camera tracking system is further configured to generate a graphical representation of the tracking volume from a perspective of the XR headset based on the pose of the XR headset indicated by the tracking information and based the model defining the tracking volume of the set of tracking cameras, and provide the graphical representation of the tracking volume to the XR headset for display to the user.
Navigated surgical system with eye to XR headset display calibration
A camera tracking system for computer assisted navigation during surgery operatively determines a first pose of a second extended-reality (XR) headset relative to stereo tracking cameras located on a first XR headset based on first tracking information from the stereo tracking cameras. The camera tracking system determines a second pose of eyes of a user wearing the second XR headset relative to the stereo tracking cameras located on the first XR headset based on second tracking information from the stereo tracking cameras. The camera tracking system also calibrates an eye-to-display relationship defining pose of the eyes of the user wearing the second XR headset to a display device of the second XR headset based on the determined first and second poses. The camera tracking system also controls where symbols are displayed on the display device of the second XR headset based on the eye-to-display relationship.
Cart for Medical Equipment with Built-In Power Supply
An equipment cart for medical equipment, such as medical disinfection equipment, includes a base with a support surface for securing the equipment and casters that allow the equipment cart to be moved. A mechanical locking mechanism for the equipment may be provided. The equipment cart has an upright support connected to the base, and a work surface supported by the upright support and spaced from the base. A power system, including an uninterruptible power supply, is provided onboard the equipment cart and supplies AC power to one or more electrical outlets on the equipment cart in the form of generally sinusoidal AC power.
Lung scope assembly
A lung endoscopy system is configured to provide portable data to a health care provider. The lung endoscopy system has a handle housing, attached to a primary screen, a second screen, a third screen, and a fourth screen. An inflatable ball is joined to the housing and electrically coupled to a ball valve inflate switch, a ball valve deflate switch, and a pump. A power connection is electrically coupled to a power connector and an external power source on a wheel cart. A camera switch is electrically coupled to a left middle camera, a right middle camera, a 180-degree camera, and a front entry camera arranged on the handle housing. The left middle camera, the right middle camera, the 180-degree camera, and the front entry camera are electrically coupled to at least one monitor on the wheel cart, and a second screen with a camera extension line.
Relocation module and methods for surgical equipment
Modules for housing electronic and electromechanical medical equipment including a system to measure and record administration of one or more IV medications or fluids for IV administration. A system and method for fusing independent measures of the physiological parameters, in some examples using a Kalman filter for each possible combination of sensor measurements.
VISION-BASED 6DOF CAMERA POSE ESTIMATION IN BRONCHOSCOPY
Methods and systems provide improved navigation through tubular networks such as lung airways by providing improved estimation of location and orientation information of a medical instrument (e.g., an endoscope) within the tubular network. Various input data such as image data and CT data, are used to model the tubular networks, and the model information is used to generate a camera pose representing a specific site location within the tubular network and/or to determine navigation information including position and orientation for the medical instrument.
MULTIPLE SKIN LESION DETECTION SYSTEM, MULTIPLE SKIN LESION DETECTION METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM HAVING PROGRAM FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME RECORDED THEREON
The present invention relates to a deep learning-based multiple skin lesion detection system, a multiple lesion detection method, and a computer-readable recording medium that has a program for implementing same recorded thereon. The system according to the present invention enables accurate classification and detection of various skin lesions having similar characteristics, on the basis of a context-dependent decision-making structure in which the local spatial correlation between various skin lesions in skin is considered.
Carriage for portable surgical robot
A portable surgical robot includes a surgical device and a cart. The surgical device is coupled to the cart. The cart includes a chassis, a mount coupled to the chassis, a carriage pivotally coupled to the mount, and a set of wheels. The carriage includes a first bracket positioned at a first lateral end of the carriage and a second bracket positioned at a second lateral end of the carriage. A first wheel of the set of wheels is coupled to the first bracket and a second wheel of the set of wheels is coupled to the second bracket. The carriage is configured to pivot relative to the mount to prevent at least one of (i) rocking of the portable surgical robot, (ii) fluttering of the first wheel, (iii) fluttering of the second wheel, and (iv) tipping of the portable surgical robot.
