SMARTPHONE DENTAL IMAGING ATTACHMENT APPARATUS
Provided herein are systems for monitoring a subject's teeth during orthodontic treatment. In particular, described herein are apparatuses having a fixed focal length for coupling to a patient's smartphone, including a built-in lip/cheek retractor. These smartphone dental imaging apparatuses may be configured to easily and robustly interface with the user's smartphone to allow capture of dental images.
ELECTRODE PATCH AND CONNECTION SYSTEM
An electrode patch 100 for monitoring electrical activity generated by a subject is disclosed. The electrode patch comprises a plurality of spatially arranged electrodes 102 for contacting an outer surface of a skin of the subject to sense and measure electrical potentials at multiple electrodes 102. The electrode patch 100 further comprises at least one connector portion 104 for connecting to a connector of a connector device. The connector portion 104 is spaced apart from the electrodes 102 and is electrically connected with the electrodes 102. A connector device for connecting to such electrode patch is also disclosed.
Swappable High Mating Cycle Fiber Connection Interface
A medical system is disclosed that includes a medical device having an optical fiber, and an interchangeable connection component configured to provide a fiber optic connection between the medical device and capital equipment. The connection component is configured to facilitate cleaning and/or polishing of fiber optic interfaces include therewith. The connection component is also configured for replacement by a medical technician while the capital equipment is operational. The capital equipment may include one or more of an optical interrogator, a patch cable, a medical probe, an ultrasound machine, a display, a magnet sensor, or an electro-cardiogram (ECG) machine. The medical device may include an elongate member configured for insertion within the patient body, where the optical fiber core extends along a length of the elongate member.
Automated Urinary Output Monitoring System
Disclosed herein is an automated urinary output monitoring system including urine collection assembly that includes a first drainage tube coupled between a urinary catheter and an interim container, and a second drainage coupled between the interim container and a final container. A scale measures the weight of urine collected in the final container and a display depicts the volume of urine collected in the final container. A vacuum pump can be coupled with the final container to draw urine from the interim container into the final container, and an air vent can isolate the patient from the vacuum within the final container. The system can be configured to wirelessly transmit urine volume data to an external computing device. A gyroscope can be coupled with the scale to determine the orientation of the scale. Logic of the system can calculate urine volume and correlate with the time of day.
Multifunctional Telemetry Apparatus for real-time emergency support
Multifunctional telemetry apparatus for real-time emergency support comprising biosensors set of electrical biosensors set, green LEDs, red LEDs, infrared LEDs, near infrared LEDs and photodetector set and temperature biosensor, accelerometer, pressure sensor set and wireless antenna, which enables the life-support network to infer and monitor user's present condition through a plurality of real-time biological information, clinical emergency conditions, movement data and events of victimizer unstrapping the apparatus. The embodiments of the multifunctional telemetry apparatus to track emergency situations through analysis of tracking information even in moving conditions or victimizer based emergency situation without active inputs or active involvement from user. Classified clinical emergency and child tracking applications synchronized to the emergency support apparatus, and these applications operated by the life-support having classified trigger commands and tracking information displayed in a manner to help efficiently mitigate emergency risks. The apparatus configured through novel communication means to communicate to life-support network even with no access to standard communication channels.
Automated exercise recommendations
Disclosed herein is a device for continuous physiological monitoring as well as systems and methods for interpreting data from such a device. The systems and methods may include automatically detecting, assessing, and analyzing exercise activity, physical recovery states, sleep states, and the like. The acquisition of continuous physiological data may facilitate automated recommendations concerning changes to sleep, recovery time, exercise routines, and the like.
Soft boot pulse oximetry sensor
A reusable sensor is disclosed for producing a signal indicative of at least one physiological parameter of tissue. The sensor can include a sensor housing that has a distal opening, a wire lumen, and a proximal opening. The distal opening can include a lumen extending through the body of the sensor housing and the wire lumen can be located on the outside of the sensor housing. The sensor can also include a first component located on a top surface of the sensor housing and along the pathway of the wire lumen. The sensor can also include a second component located on the bottom surface of the sensor housing opposite of the first component. The second component can also be located along the pathway of the wire lumen. The sensor can also include a wire coaxially disposed within the wire lumen and connecting the first component and second component.
ANVIL ASSEMBLIES WITH COLLAPSIBLE FRAMES FOR CIRCULAR STAPLERS
Circular stapling instruments and anvil assemblies. The anvil assemblies may have collapsible anvil support members that may be inserted through an opening in a patient and then expanded to be attached to an anvil plate assembly that has a staple-forming surface thereon. The anvil support member is attachable to the anvil plate assembly in such a way that when the anvil assembly is coupled to the stapling head of a circular stapler, the staple-forming surface is in substantial registry with the staples supported in the stapling head. A variety of different anvil support members and anvil plate assemblies are disclosed.
Detection Probe and Fetal Monitor
A detection probe and a fetal monitor. The detection probe comprises a probe body (2) and a mounting structure (1), detachably mounted on the probe body (2) and having a heart rate sensor for heart rate detection, a socket (4) for data transmission, and a lead line (5) for connecting the heart rate sensor and the socket (4) arranged thereon. A variety of functions can be achieved by means of a single detection device and thus the degree of integration is high; moreover, when the heart rate sensor is failed or aged, because the mounting structure (1) can be separated from the probe body (2), it is only necessary to repair and replace a corresponding part, so that the maintenance is convenient and the cost is reduced. Furthermore, the mounting structure (1) can also product the probe body (2) to some extent, and thus the anti-dropping capability of the detection probe is improved.
