LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
The invention provides a liquid laundry detergent composition having:
(i) an aqueous continuous phase including from 3 to 80% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of one or more detersive surfactants and from 0.05% to 2% (by weight based on the total weight of the composition) of a first polymeric rheology modifier; and
(ii) a dispersed phase of suspended benefit agent delivery particles; the particles having a core-shell structure in which a shell of polymeric material entraps a core containing the benefit agent;
in which a second polymeric rheology modifier comprises a hydrophilic polysaccharide backbone and is covalently attached to the exterior surface of the shell of the delivery particle (either directly or via a linking group);
and in which the first and the second polymeric rheology modifiers each have a hydrophilic backbone including at least one hydrophobic segment which is available to form non-specific hydrophobic associations within the composition.

Also provided is a method of cleaning articles in an automatic dishwashing machine while maintaining cleanliness of the automatic dishwashing machine.
AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING COMPOSITION COMPRISING AMPHIPHILIC GRAFT POLYMER
A phosphate-free automatic dishwashing cleaning composition having from about 20% to about 50% by weight of the composition of a complexing agent selected from the group consisting of methyl glycine diacetic acid, its salts and derivatives thereof citric acid, its salts and derivatives thereof, glutamic-N,N-diacetic acid, its salts and derivatives thereof, iminodisuccinic acid, its salts and derivatives thereof, carboxy methyl inulin, its salts and derivatives thereof, aspartic acid-N,N-diacetic acid, its salts and derivatives thereof, and mixtures thereof; and an amphiphilic graft polymer based on water-soluble polyalkylene oxides as a graft base and side chains formed by polymerization of a vinyl ester component, wherein said amphiphilic graft polymer is water-soluble or water-dispersible and has a weight average molar mass (Mw) of from about 3,000 to about 100,000; and optionally a dispersant polymer.
PHOSPHATE-FREE CLEANER FOR METALLIC SURFACES WITH REDUCED PICKLING EROSION
Described herein is a water-based, alkaline cleaner concentrate for producing a cleaner for metallic surfaces, the concentrate including a) at least one (meth)acrylic acid homopolymer having a weight-average molar mass in the range from 3 000 to 19 000 g/mol and b) at least one (meth)acrylic acid copolymer having a weight-average molar mass in the range from 50 000 to 100 000 g/mol. Also described herein are a corresponding cleaner for metallic surfaces with reduced pickling erosion, a process for anticorrosive treatment of metallic surfaces that includes a corresponding cleaning step, a metallic surface obtained by the process, and a method of use thereof in the sector of the metalworking industries.
POLYMER OF 2-ACRYLAMIDO-2-METHYLPROPANE SULFONIC ACID OR THE SALTS THEREOF
The present invention relates to a polymer obtained at least from a quantity A of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid, in acid and/or salified form, characterized in that the quantity A of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid contains 250 to 20,000 ppm by weight of 2-methyl-2-propenyl-sulfonic acid, in acid and/or salified form. The present invention also relates to the use of this polymer as a flocculant, viscosity reducing agent, thickener, absorbent, friction reducing agent or plasticizer or superplasticizer, in particular in a field chosen from among oil and gas recovery, water treatment, sludge treatment, paper manufacture, construction, mining, cosmetic product formulation, detergent formulation, textile manufacture and agriculture.
Cleaning booster polymer
A liquid laundry additive is provided, comprising a cleaning booster polymer having structural units of a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer; structural units of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of formula (I) ##STR00001##
optionally, structural units of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of formula (III) ##STR00002##
and optionally, structural units of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of formula (IV) ##STR00003##
Cleaning solution composition and cleaning method using the same
A cleaning solution composition and a cleaning method using the cleaning solution composition are provided. The cleaning solution composition includes a chelating agent including a first organic acid and a second organic acid, and an etching agent including a fluoride compound.
PRESSED, SELF-SOLIDIFYING, SOLID CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING THEM
The present invention relates to a method of making a solid cleaning composition. The method can include pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid of a self-solidifying cleaning composition. For a self-solidifying cleaning composition, pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid determines the shape and density of the solid but is not required for forming a solid. The method can employ a concrete block machine for pressing and/or vibrating. The present invention also relates to a solid cleaning composition made by the method and to solid cleaning compositions including particles bound together by a binding agent.
ITACONIC ACID POLYMERS
The disclosed technology relates to pure polyitaconic acid homo- and co-polymers free of the less reactive tri-substituted vinyl monomers (e.g., citraconic acid or mesaconic acid) that may be used, for example, as builders in detergent applications, such as in the personal and home care market.
